The QB Draw was ran 3 times in a row, then the qb sneak to begin the 4th qtr. So yes 4 QB runs in a row, logical....I don't know. We didn't try to push the ball down field at all to test the corners, and we didn't mix up the backs in the backfield to try and get a more power set. We need Max to play on offense, if he is such a great player and going to a BIG TEN school he needs to be on the field in these big games, no excuses!

The o-line played like crap tonight too...how many times were we tackled in the backfield, or had 2/3/4 and 1 and couldn't get 1 freaking yard....ridiculous!

Yes exactly I talked to BRF at halftime and said I'll take a 6-0 game at halftime considering their offense and the scoring they have done...we had our opportunities and didn't capitalize on them on offense.

The one thing that boggled me the whole game. How in the world did both teams have trouble holding onto the football?

I am a big believer in having one of, or even your best player handling the ball on every snap. And now I am done talking about this because I am unhappy and frustrated and the point is moot.

He just looked like it was his first varsity start, and had absolutely no clue what was going on...nerves played into that fumbled snap on the first play of the game for the Riders, but after that he should've been fine...and he wasn't.

quite a few times the ball was coughed up when hardly any contact was initiated. on the radio it sounded as if they were playing with a greased watermelon.

When the point becomes moot that is equivalent to pointless because you have recognized that the needed change has a next to 0% possibility of happening

There was one fumble that looked as if no contact was made and it just slipped out of his hands, unfortunately that was our QB who lost the ball when we were inside the colt 20 yard line.

It should not be the ball from center to an average player that maybe makes a great play and if lucky gets the ball to great player that might get the chance to make a great play. The latter is the Rider offense

Week 10 and you still whine about positions, time to get over it and move on to wooster week :)

Your're right week 10 the Riders will not change anything on offense. The conclusion is clear here If you don't have anything positive to say then don't say it at all. I'm done.

Big time players step up in big games. Anyone can look good against the West Holmes and Madisons of the league. That is all.

We are bound and determined to be the same team every year offensively. It all falls on the QB with our play calling. This year he is doing a good job for his age and experience but is being asked to do too much. Had we been a team who committed more to the run this year....and I mean committed....we open things for our offense. That is not in the mind set of our staff. 3rd and anything more than 3-pass....and everyone knows it. In the spread every play just bring more than we can block...sack. Good teams really expose our lack of offense. It has never been about kids not being ready to play it has been about our offense being pathetic and predictable. Defense keeps us around for the whole game against weaker teams until we get a big play here or there, but can't do it against good teams. Bummer

It certainly was a tough night for us arm chair quarterbacks.

Why quarterbacks? Shouldn't it really be armchair coaches :)

Nice thing is we didn't show too much last night. haha. Fred Maibach luncheon today. What a great booster he is. Back to work and finish out the regular season with a W. Go Riders!
