The older guy with the walkman is nicknamed scout. He is harmless just a a little slow upstairs and loves Orrville sports

No it was an older African American male that got removed. Scout usually stands up at the top of the bleachers listening to his radio and pretends to be the ref. He usually goes to all the practices as well. Scout got his name because he always new stuff about the other team we were playing, hence.the nickname scout.
The guy removed I have never seen before until Friday night.

Bah ha ha! I forgot about that! The thought of people who don't know who you are thinking that you were "Scout"! That's rich, man!RedRider1;516011 wrote:
BRF, wasnt that the guy that someone thought was me several years ago? You took a pic at the downtown thing and posted it, said I was in the pic and someone guessed that's who I was.

I wish the Browns would give Tim Hiller a call. His mom said that they haven't yet.

Mr. Miyagi thinks it was Bloody Toothbrush who was removed Friday night. Mr Miyagi could hear him screaming obscene things about Miyagi's mother as the police were dragging him away.

I agree the poor guy just needs an oppurtunity. If the browns are so interested in character, I don't think there is a better man than Tim.

Sorry waxboy...I was in Mayfield watching the NE Ohio Con. Valley Division battle. Stangs won 28-0. NEO Valley D1 ball, makes the OCC look like the WCAL. Not here to gloat or argue, just to defend myself and warn Miyagi hole & tattlertroll BRF not to talk about peoples mothers. It could get you in trouble.Mr Miyagi;516505 wrote:Mr. Miyagi thinks it was Bloody Toothbrush who was removed Friday night. I heard it was Sonny Webb. Now I don't know if that's true. BRF would be about the right age.

Just an observation from last Friday. Did anyone else see how Ashland lined up to return kickoffs?
They had the first two rows, and then 4 deep guys. But the 4 deep guys were all bunch together, and as the kicker started his steps, they scattered to there positions. The players rotated though where they were lining up on each kickoff.
I think we could really benefit from this and maybe it will give Turner a few more opportunities to return some kicks. Right now the OCC website has him with ONE return for 53 yards. If the other team doesn't know where he is going to lineup, they can't "kick away" from him. Have Turner, Simpson, Davis, Brenner all back deep and have them scatter to different spots on each kickoff......what do you guys think?
Turner is the fastest guy on the field every friday night and we barely use him. I just think we don't use Turner enough, but maybe it's just me.

Can any of you Orrville fans give me an idea of what to expect from Mansfield Sr? I'm thinking of heading over for to Arlin Field this Friday night to see the game.

I like the idea on the kick return. Stu Turnner is an amazing athlete. First year in our system is probably a little tricky for him to see how everything flows...and for us to learn the same about him. my guess is that is why the jet sweeps and wide out screens have struggled a bit early. With his type of talent I think as everyone gets more comfortable in the offense his productivity will increase. There are only so many ways you can get a player touches for his position. I think the staff is trying all they know. From my perspective the part of his game that will grow with his strength is to use that speed to run more vertical and break tackles instead of having to use that speed to run away from the pack. then his talent will jump to another level as he will be very effective in traffic. Just my thoughts...I am no coach or ever was a receiver. I know this much...he is a good kid and his family should proud of that. He will be a fine leader on this team down the stretch and next year and more than likely beyond that.

I might let that call go to voice mail if I were him.
Browns o-line has been less than good so far, top 2 QB's are hurt, no threats at WR other than Cribbs and Hillis is out so you have no running game.
Oh...and they play at Pittsburgh with them coming off a bye week.
Almost a zero percent chance of success this week. I'd hate to see Tim get thrown into that mess.

He is a very nice young man and a great athlete, and I'm glad he is a Red Rider. It speaks volumes as to the kind of character he does have, not once have I seen him hang his head or get mad cause he hasn't gotten the ball, he just lines up and runs the play that is called. Maybe we are just saving some stuff for the playoffs (That's what I keep telling myself

Last week was the game to open the playbook. It happened a little but not much. Still not liking the "mason in motion" running play. Caused another fumble last week. Such a timing thing.
