This will be shot down. That shit is annoying, but with or without soccer is still god awful. You spend 90+ minutes watching guys pass a ball to each other. Every once in a while you wake up after a goal is scored, and then go back to sleep because you won't miss anything exciting.

wow, almost had more views than NASCAR ON THE SPEED NETWORK. The fact that you are comparing premier league soccer to the huge ratings that Speed network pull proves my point. Thanks.

Comparing it to an NFL pregame show might even be worse.

How do the soccer ratings compare to the Lifetime network? Both are probably fighting over the same fans.

There are also 3 other NFL pregame shows going on at the same time as NFL networks, and I don't think NFL network is available to everyone.

Okay so you guys are saying UFC, NASCAR, and an NFL pre game show are irrelevant? Gotcha.

Also, the Premier League is in an entirely different country, broadcasted in the US in the mornings on a Saturday/Sunday or in the afternoon on a Tuesday...obviously they aren't going to be getting insane TV ratings. However, the fact that so many people in America are watching futbol played in England on a saturday morning at 8 am tells me futbol is not irrelevant.

ummm did soccer outdraw these or did they almost outdraw them? They are more relevant than soccer. Also, isn't the premier league the best league in the world? If soccer did matter in the US, surely it could outdraw any of those events regardless of the time of week/day its broadcast. The UFC, NASCAR and the NFL were broadcast at the same time as the soccer right? So you can't use the argument that it was aired at an off time for viewers.

Please let the grass fairies keep their kazoos in their own sport. I could care less if soccer is most of the rest of the world's sport; America has baseball and football (the non-nap inducing version) as it's past times because, ugh, they don't suck.
