I know what Austin Kearns' stats are. He's had a resurgence but his baseball card suggests he will fall off soon. There's a reason Washington didn't ask him back, (they play something called Roger Bernidinha in RF right now, and it has been a revolving door out there all season)

What exactly did the Indians get back in the Lee trade that has any kind of value? At this point Carrasco looks like the one guy who might be ok. Donald is a .250-.260 SS, Marson sucks, and the other relief pitcher they got has been a non-factor in the minors. Cleveland will not be back on the map until Shapiro is given his walking papers.

SMH.

Who said anything about anybody getting anything for Cliff Lee?

WHO SAID ANYTHING?!?!

And it's a little hard to judge Donald on his first stint. Phillips looked like a .250-.260 hitter when he first came up, don't be ignorant to judge a player by what he's doing with his first call up. That's foolish.

Also, nobody said anything about Washington and Austin Kearns, I'm speaking for this season... Point blank.

And as much as I hate the Dolans and Shapiro, we have been contenders a couple of times under them, so I don't think they need to leave before we do it again. Would it help? Sure.

With that said, I guess the Reds will never go anywhere as long as their current FO and Dingleberry Baker are at the helm?

But seriously, you're trying to make something out of nothing. I have no issue with the Reds.

Enough of this bickering kids. Lets get back to the fact that Cleveland sucks as a sports city. Nobody has yet stated why it doesn't.

As a sports city? It doesn't suck because we have 3 professional teams, 2 with a great history and 1 that is building it's own prestige at the moment. We have a great fan base or very loyal fans who are all sharing the starvation of a lack of titles.

We also have great highschool sports that produce a plethora of D1 and NFL players.

Browns stadium has been host to a # of international soccer matches as well.

Cleveland far from sucks as a "sports city".

If you want to talk about lack of championships, go right ahead, but that doesn't make Cleveland a bad sports city, dumbass.

Which 2 have a great history? Dont even bring up high school football because western PA is where legends are made. So you fail, dumbass.

lol.

I would say the Browns and Indians have a great history.

Legends are made? sigh.. First of all, out of complete ignorance, you never asked to compare cities, you asked why we didn't think Cleveland sucks as a sports city. And I would stack up Ohio high school football with anybody.

Seriously, you have nothing better to do than to troll on an internet message board? Instead of celebrating a USA victory or something, you continue to bash an American city... I'm starting to think you're a syphilis bombing terrorist.

Celebrate a USA victory? What did we do, carpet bomb Iran or N.Korea. That would be something to celebrate, not beating a third world country( Albania) in a sport nobody cares about.

Al Capone is full of fail. Nobody cares about it, yet the threads about it are full of activity lol... Not to mention the interest around the entire country, much less the world.

My goodness, Al Capone may be dumber than NCF and that's saying something.

I am not even a Cleveland fan, but aren't Jesse Owens, John Heisman, Cy Young and other sports legends from Cleveland? Someone double check that, but I thought I remember my Cleveland buddy talk about that.

He's the greatest .500 pitcher ever!

Yes, and Jim Tressel was born in the Cleveland area as well..

Not to mention a plethora of other famous people/faces.

In fact, Jesse Owens has a statue in Cleveland, I do believe.

Yet, the most prestigious pitching award you can win is named after him!

You'd have to be a total dickhead piece of shit for me to actually put you on my "ignore" list but that's what I finally did with him. It's like the fucking movie "Groundhog Day" with him. Same shit over & over and NOTHING original. Just pisses me off when somebody quotes him and I have to read the shit. I DO like to get on the threads he starts though so I can see you guys beat on him like a pinata without reading his ejaculation of the mouth (for the most part).

I might have to do the same. Sick and tired of having to go through pages of this guys bullshit just to read a thread......especially the Browns thread. "Clowns will be lucky to win 2 games hahahha" thats basically ALL he does over and over and over again. We get it, you think the Browns stink. Now GTFO!
