Stephen A. Smith.......he mumbled it right after he said Bosh & LBJ were a "lock" to hook up with Wade in South Beach. You gotta listen closely though.

What are you smoking? You can't say they are trying to save money, and then say they would want Jamison who is due $12 million next year.

Only once in his career has he averaged 20/10. It's so easy to throw that around, but it's not true.SportsAndLady;405143 wrote:He is a 20-10 guy....... He's always been a 20-10 guy
Adding Jamison and subtracting Bosh saves them money.
KR1245;405168 wrote:Latest from Windy: Take it for what its worth
A source close to James told The Plain Dealer Tuesday morning that James still considers the Cavs to have the edge in re-signing the two-time Most Valuable Player. This is based not only on the fact that the Cavs can pay him $30 million more than another team over the next six years
thedynasty1998;405184 wrote:So, because Phoenix wanted him, they think he's an All Star? No.

I disagree. Sometimes, you face reality, and the situation was that Phoenix is going to lose Amare for nothing. Maybe it's possible Hickson was a key target they had in-mind. However, Phoenix really had no leverage in how much value they got for Amare.SportsAndLady;405186 wrote:Future all-star, yes.
BR1986FB;405194 wrote:How in the hell do you KNOW that Lebron won't sign a 5 or 6 year deal? With the salary cap being lowered and the uncertainty that it holds, IF he signs a max deal for the full term, he will be "grandfathered" in under the old agreement. I know he's not hurting for money but not signing a deal for the max length is going to leave a lot of FUTURE money on the table.

SportsAndLady;405227 wrote:I just don't understand how you can say JJ Hickson is NOT a POTENTIAL all-star. He's 21 years old and has shown flashes of brilliance. Doesn't help playing behind Shaq, Jamison, and Varejao.
thedynasty1998;405221 wrote:He would be foolish to sign a 6 year deal in Cleveland. You know that. I know that. Lebron knows that.
thedynasty1998;405242 wrote:But he has shown absolutely nothing to make me believe he'll be an All Star. Plus, if he's that good, he should be able to play in front of Shaq and Varejao.
SportsAndLady;405263 wrote:Yeah and a lot of players with POTENTIAL have shown nothing to be considered a future all-star, that's why it's called potential. And he didn't play over Varejao and Shaq because Varejao was an all-NBA defender, and Shaq was a big name signee that Brown felt obligated to play. When he was out of the lineup, Hickson played very well for Cleveland...many people forget that.
