What the hell was he trying to do there? I know he's aggressive and all but trying to draw the ball between those trees was basically impossible.

Phil is already pissing down his leg and it is only the front 9 on Thursday.

It was all right there for the taking and he just can't make it happen. +3 already, and heading in the wrong direction.

You have to take advantage of the early time time when you have it, and he is not doing that. He goes off real late tomorrow, and it will make for a tough time trying to get back into the tournament if he doesn't turn it around today.

Little too early to be calling Phil done, when he's only six out of the lead.

Yeah I don't see too many players getting lower than -2 at best. He should still make the cut comfortably and will still work his way back into contention.

Westwood, Els and Tiger are off and playing 3 right now. Els holed a bunker shot on 2 to get back to even par. Tiger has hit the ball pretty well, just missing two good looks at birdie on the first two holes and he just hit another great approach to 8 feet on 3.

That's one hell of a threesome today with Els, Westwood and Tiger.

And I love the way they have let the whispy, long grass grow around the traps.

Tiger didn't play too bad yesterday; unfortunately outside of that DeJonge guy and the other leaders, nobody played particularly well either.

I don't remember who it was, but the guy who hit a knockdown 3 wood into 17 and ended up on the 18th tee box should get a triple for stupidity and taking a rediculous amount of club. He was able to salvage bogey

I wish I could see any of it. I am trying to find places to stream it in the UK, but it is very tough. Will probably catch some at a pub tonight though. All but about 15 players are within 10 of the lead right now, which is insane, because they would all make the cut.

If I watch him he will....and I just turned it on....and I swear if I see another guy get drilled in the ass with a golf ball I'm going to need to change my pants.

Tiger is doing WORK. -4 on the day with 7 birdies. He is putting lights out on the much more difficult back nine. One to play for him.

Johnson is rolling along well at -5, but he and mcdowell have a ton of golf to play, and the wind is kicking up.

Phil will be lucky to double the ninth hole right now, will likely be +2 here soon.

31 on the back nine 4 strokes better than the second best back nine of the day. The scoring average is 39 on the back nine.

8 birdies is insane.

Going to bed-- will be interesting to see what the leaders do on the back.

Tiger will be fine. There are some things that he won't be losing, and one of those is his incredible ability to play the game of golf. No one else plays the game the way he can and he's starting to get in a little groove.
