Okay....so my friend who went and saw this fought back tears at the end. Was I the.....errr....was he the only one who thought it was really sad at the end?

I felt like such a bitch sitting there with my 4 year old. Luckily we saw it in 3D and he couldn't see my eyes welling up.... :)

There were some intense parts to this movie; almost to the point that I felt like a kid wouldn't get it, or would be scared. Definitely a great movie for the 20-30 year olds that grew up with it though. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Saw it with my 3 boys last night on Father's Day.

I had read there was a "sad" part...SPOILER, DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE

I thought when they were in the incinerator they were all going to be cooked since I had read there was a "sad" part at the end. However, the end where he gives the toys to the girl, I didn't think that was all that "sad" really.

Holy shit.....I was ready to cry in the first 5 minutes. Growing up with this movie franchise really made everything hit home. I was 10 when the first one came out....

I'm about to go see it tonight at 10:15 with a few herbal essences in me and my friends system.

It is worth the extra few bucks to see it in Imax 3D?

I think it was an amazing movie without 3D.....

Maybe its because I was 16 when the first one came out and while I saw it and liked it, I wasn't a "kid" at the time.

No. The movie would have been just as good without the 3D. No too many (if any) 3D effects. The previews are worth seeing in 3D, but the movie is not.

Thank you for saving me 5 bucks sir. I truly appreciate it. I'm often times not stereotypically jewish about my money, but I feel that because movies are grossly overpriced as they are, I might as well not give them more money than I need to.

Count me as another who welled up at the end. Really pulls at your heart strings.

I wouldn't call it being jewish.....I'd call it not falling for the jews in Hollywood's bullshit to try and make more money. 3D is a joke that they're trying to sell you to make more money. Most movies aren't even produced in 3D (Avatar being an exception) and its just slapped on the movie during post production.

Anyways.....the movie is amazing.

Saw it last night, couple thoughts:

1. Every single preview was for a bullshit 3D movie. By the end my friends and I were dying from how ridiculous it was.

2. Awesome movie. Was absolutely entertaining, and I found myself laughing for a lot of the parts, and I was dying during the death by monkeys.

3. I can see why some people cried, but I didn't, just because I couldn't bring myself to sympathize with cartoon toys. Don't get me wrong, I like the message it's sending, but it's not strong enough to me, imo, to get me to cry. Not that there's anything wrong with the people who did.

I also died laughing during the "death by monkeys".

They way they tied that sequence into the same sequence in Toy Story 1 was really good too.

Sieg Heil you nazi MF'er! If it wasn't for the Jewish community you would never see most films being made ever.

I thought it was a great movie, but the worst of the toy story franchise. Also, although the movie looked good in 3d, I think this is one that really didn't need the technology. It wasn't "eye popping" like avatar.
