Another game Kobe chucks his team out of it. Can we please stop with this closer BS? The guy is an overrated chucker, it's quite apparent at this point.

Kobe didn't "chuck his team out of it." The rest of team chucked themselves out of the game.

I will say this about the ball not hitting the rim. It sure looked like it didn't. However, I think LA benefited from the call Kobe received the possession before when it clearly wasn't a foul by Allen on the 3-point shot. So I think both plays canceled each other out.

Are you seriously this stupid? You like to brag about how superior an OSU education is, but after seeing some of your posts I have my doubts. You obviously didn't watch the game. Kobe was the only guy who came to play. He had to chuck shots.

The game was almost unbearable to watch in the final 2-3 minutes with all the flopping, bickering, and missed calls/calls that should not have been made. Joey Crawford is atrocious.

It definitely hit the rim. the second view(the one after the over the top view), clearly showed it.

The problem with Bryant is that the guy has absolutely no killer instinct.

Do you guys really watch the game?? Or just come on and talk shit??

Ray Allen hit him on the left elbow on the way up. That is a foul.

They just showed the replay on ESPN. It was a foul.

How could the rest of the team come to play when Kobe is the only one shooting? His team bailed him out with offensive rebounds, without those, the Lakers would have lost by 50.

The issue with the call is that they called it a shot clock violation on the floor. That is a call they are not allowed to go to the monitor and look at. But they just magically reversed it on the floor.

No, they didn't. The official was signaling the scorekeeper to reset the shot clock.

And one official was calling a shot clock violation which is why the play was stopped....

I'd say I am pretty impartial... that "foul" was a joke. I hate when NBA officials reward players like that. Allen didn't do anything, Kobe just contorted his body and flailed after the shot and bang Joey Crawford calls it. That kind of crap is my single biggest beef with the NBA. The officiating continues to be an embarrassment.

Apparently it wasn't a a 'Magical" call. Two of the three referees agreed that the ball hit the rim.

You people that are bad mouthing Kobe, just don't understand the game. When a player like Kobe gets in a zone, the smart thing to do is ride him. That's is what Phil Jackson did.

honestly, that kind of stuff doesnt bother me. players drawing fouls like that or flopping, its part of the game. As long as its called the same way both ways that is.

One must over look the stupidly of the Cav fan when it comes to the ability to win a championship.

Lakers fans know that so far in this series the Celtics have been the better team and no excuses need to be made for this.

No matter the final outcome of this series Kobe is and always will be 100 times more of a leader than KING NO TITLE IS AND THE LAKERS ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE A BETTER ORGANIZATION THAN CLEVELAND IS,.
