Aaron Harang vs Jonathan Sanchez

Reds need this win to get going again. Harang must step up....but I'm not sure he even has the ability but the Giants offense is not much......but enough to beat the Reds offense thus far.

Hopefully Dusty won't rest Rolen, Bruce and Gomes tonight.....or some mixture of of 2 of our best 7 players.

Hopefully he won't pitch Masset when it matters.

Sanchez is potentially very very unhittable so hopefully he's not "on"

It's the standard lineup tonight other than Corky replacing Ramon in the 8 hole.

Sanchez is good as fuck, he gets absolutely no run support though.

Reds are looking at 3 in a row here, unless Harang can suprise/offense can wake up.

He's not always on.....his high end is very very high......but he is 4-4.....so he can be beaten.

Not really. He's been pretty consistently good the whole year.

In 11 starts this year, He's only given up 0 runs in two games, and that was both against the Pirates.
He's given up 1 run four times, 2 runs one time, 3 runs twice, and 4 runs twice.

He hasn't really been great, but hasn't ever really been bad. Just consistent.

Harang just gave up a damn HR into the Kroger bleachers in left. Dude is seriously an embarassment to this uniform.

2-1 bad guys because Harang is still on his quest of blowing the rest of the league.

Batting practice. He is glorified god damn batting practice. He doesn't even deserve to be sent down, release him.

The sad thing is 1 homer in 3 IP is actually not bad in my mind. I mean it's really bad but not for Harang.

Rolen is so good. I don't think there's been a better Red since Larkin that I can think of. Votto's close if he could just be consistent and stay in the lineup.

Bases juiced for Gomes and his .500+ hitters in scoring position, 2 outs average.

Volquez is making a rehab start Saturday. It's going to get real interesting in a few weeks.

You won't see an inning as bad as that, when you get your first batter on first (not to mention, maybe the fastest player in the league).

Isn't Harang one of the worst batting pitchers in MLB history? I think I remember seeing that somewhere awhile back.
