I'm not either, and I was more so talking to the OP, because of the name of the thread.

New 2 year contract: iPhone 4 will cost $199 for 16GB storage; $299 for 32GB storage in the U.S.

iPhone 4 available on June 24th. I want one now.

Looks like a polished turd. Better camera. Book reader. New design. Same shitty ass network.

Edit: HEY!!! AT&T is going to let anyone who is eligible for an upgrade in 2010 upgrade early to the iPhone 4! I WONDER WHY. (coughVerizoniPhonecoughcough)

Saying 3G and 4G make more sense to that being the band that the phone runs on, seeing as how those are whole industry terms

Exactly, and since the new iPhone is still only 3G, they can't really call it 4G for fear that other companies will attack them for false advertising.

I am guessing this Iphone is the same one that was "leaked" a month or so ago?

Anyhow, I hope that ATT service gets better...I read and hear a lot of complaints.

Is AT&T service really THAT bad? I had them for 5 years before I switched to Sprint. I honestly had zero problems. My reason for the switch was price.

I have no idea other than what I read on the geek sites. Almost everyone I know has verizon now....mostly because of the area that we live in.

I don't know why people piss and moan about ATT's network. I have no issues with it and have NEVER had a dropped call (been with them for 6 years)

I really think service is area specific. I switched to AT&T because they were the only carrier that I could get service at my house with. I've been with AT&t for about 5 or 6 years now, and have never been anywhere I expected to get service and didn't.

Yes, same phone.

This. Zero problems with AT&T. And I will be getting the 4G the first available day.

I hate it because the one place I don't have reliable service is inside my house. Since we don't have a land line it pretty much sucks ass.

Do you have a signal at all? A guy that I work with has a weak signal and he bought one of these...now he has fine reception...

it stays on that phone, so if you sell it, the new owner would still have the protection for the remaining time.

I think that can be blamed on the different technologies. I think CDMA (which Verizon/Sprint use) has better penetration (teehee) through walls and such.

AT&T bought up that 850mHz band, which supposedly is supposed to improve that...but I would imagine that's already rolled out in Cinci.
