Just ordered mine. After thinking about it I chose the 16g, I don't think I will use 32g. Even if I did by the time I fill it a new one will be out, LOL.

Haha.....16gigs, I'm close to filling mine up now, mostly music. I'm thinking the Droid Pro coming at the end of the year will be my phone for a long, long time. Hoping it comes with 2 -32gig SD cards, plus 16 more in flash. 50 gigs of music and a handful of movies would be about right!!

What could anyone possibly want with 16g of music?? How much free time do you have to have to make it worth having all those songs??

My buddy always complains because his ipod isn't big enough for his 1500 songs. I just tell him he's a big loser and there is no way you will ever want to listen to half of those songs.

Its not songs, I have an 8g Iphone now. I only have about 200 songs, 2 movies, about 40 - 50 apps, some photos and its already over 7g. I have just discovered 8g isn't enough but 32g would be way too much so 16g is a happy medium for me.

It's not about listening to all those songs, it's about having almost every song I'd ever want to listen to - even if it's 5 years from now - depending on what I feel like hearing. My old old IPod had 1000 songs on it, and there was still always a song or artist I wanted to play that I hadn't put on there. I also hit skip - a lot - so that adds to the need. Basically the need for a ton of songs is my phone is my own personal radio station for all my requests.

Forgot about the photos....Big memory eater. I'm not big on pics, but with a 5-8megapixel camera they're going to be over a meg each.

The other thing is unless email gets more generous with size limits on file attachments, your phone becomes a convenient way to transfer files back-and-forth between work. I can connect to my computer via bluetooth or wifi and move files just as easily as I would between folders on my computer (though quite a bit slower, obviously). Sure, get a memory stick but what some people are missing is the cell as an all-in-one device.

I don't notice that problem. I've had mine since yesterday with no such issues to report.

It's not strange at all. That always happens with cell phones when you place your hand around the antenna. I remember when I worked at Sprint, we had to actually tell people they couldn't hold the phone a certain way because it blocks the antenna.

Since the metal ring around the iPhone IS the antenna...whenever you wrap your hand around it, it will block the antenna's signal. So Apple's idea to make up for AT&Ts coverage by adding this metal ring to boost the antenna is actually one of the worst ideas they could have come up with because unless you are using the phone in speaker phone mode...you are going to be screwing yourself out of coverage.

imex, $1000, that's crazy; I'm sure you'll get it from someone though; good luck!

Does anyone know when will these be available in the stores (that weren't pre-ordered)?

I never understood why folks would dish out cash like that well over retail. If they just settle down and wait a few days/weeks after the release they will start being available and stocked.
