Cueto escapes again on a 2 out, bases loaded fly to the CF warning track on the 4th full count pitch. He's got 102 pitches. Will Dusty send him out there again to start the 7th?

Cairo takes a two strike high breaking ball, with the first two strikes having come on breaking balls, into left for two two RBI and a 5-4 Reds lead. Hard to believe Cueto is in line for the win should the Reds bullpen hold for 3 innings!

Haha, 2 short weeks ago, Cairo was the scapegoat for all of the teams problems. Now he is just the GOAT.

FUCKING CAIRO!!

2 outs.

Bruce single. Stubbs walk. Hernandez walk. Cairo 2-run PH single.

The old Barry Zito showed up. The one from 2 years ago that was a train wreck.

BP bobbles the grounder and takes the out at first rather than the force at 2B, putting two runners in scoring position instead of just one, with one out an Uribe facing the incoming Del Rosario.

And there goes the lead, 6-5, and Cueto's undeserved win possibilty evaporates.

Which makes NO SENSE.

The pen was strong early on IMO. But now they look like TOTAL SHIT, minus Arty and CoCo.

When Herrera is the guy you bring in to protect a 1-run lead, you're in trouble. The guy is a situational lefty who throws up trick pitches. He isn't a setup arm.

Unfortunately, that's what happens when you burn out Arthur Rhodes.

Jared Burton needs to get his chance here soon. Can't get much worse.

Cordero has allowed 8 ER over his last 13.2 IP. He has 3 blown saves and 2 losses over that time.

His ERA was 2.50 to start May and now it's almost 4. For a guy with very few innings, that isn't good.

Cordero has been shaky for a good month at least.

I didn't say he blows :)

I'm a big Cordero supporter, always have been. He's been one of the best closers in the MLB for the last 3 years.

However, each of his last 3 or 4 years he seems to really have a stretch like this where he's very hittable.
