Does anyone remember that thread?

It seems the ugly collapse is actually happening to the Cavs.
Head Coach fired after back to back 60 win seasons, GM stomps his feet and walks out, Delonte doing bad things with the star players Mom,Lebron playing uninspired ball in the Playoffs?? Pending Free Agency that could turn Quicken Loans Arena into a Flea Market.

I wonder if any blame should go to that person who started that thread? Thoughts?

I gotta say that Skyhook has a point. Cavs organization is in complete disarray right now.

Yeah, the Cavs collapse has been pretty entertaining thus far. If Lebron comes back all will be well though.

I dont think firing people counts as a collapse.. Delonte and Lebrons mom is just a rumor, I havent read up on it a whole lot but im pretty sure it was said it was false.

Everybody remembers that thread, and SQ took the heat from it from everyone, including me. Skyhook is actually suggesting that SQs thread was the reasoning for this. Stupid.

Let's's give the Cavs a chance to finalize everything before we pass judgement on how far they have fallen. Perhaps they will come out of this better than they were, although I think the firing of Mike Brown will turn out to be the biggest mistake of the whole episode. The next coach has no chance unless he is truly a miracle worker. Perhaps Anne Bancroft can be hired as the next coach? (Is she still alive?????)

Actually, this is the proof that Leboob will return. He's running the show, period. He wanted MB gone as well as Ferry for him to return to the Cavs. The rest is all glitz and glitter for the media. He's working behind the scenes with ownership on who HE wants in place. Not too hard to figure that out.

And when he fails to win a championship next year and the year after that.......oooohhhh my the fun I'll have.

I read that Plain Dealer this morning and it looks like the Cavs are seeing what they can get in return for Mo and Delonte. It says that Mo has three years left and would be hard to trade but he has opt out clauses after each year. Delonte is the easier to trade as it says if he is waived by August that he is only owed $500,000.

This is starting to look like almost a complete rebuilding of this team and Gilbert says in the article that he is not happy with status quo. This should make draft night very interesting around the NBA.

Give it a break Sky. The only thing worse than that thread is the person that keeps bringing it up.

Collapse?

They had their GM in waiting you dumb fuck. Uninformed people are ridiculous.

Grant has been the future GM for quite so time and he almost left to take another GM'ing position. He is already at work so you can cross that one off your list.

Delonte rumor is false.

Who wouldn't fire MB, someone had to take the fall. Ferry didn't agree with it so Gilbert let him walk knowing he had one of the up and coming GM's in the game waiting in the wings.

And Cleveland is already in talks for trades, so much for that poor management.

Them trying to deal Delonte kind of points to the fact that there might be some "truth" to that rumor. Delonte was a pretty good player for them. Seems kind of odd they'd try and trade him

Uninformed once again.

Delonte West is one of Cleveland's best trade assests right now because he provides teams immediate cap relief if they are trying to jump into FA this summer. Teams that trade for Delonte will cut him and only have to pay 500,000K of his 4.6 million dollar contract. That is 4.1 million that teams can use this summer right away if they are under the cap.

I see your still in denial. Every team has assistant GM's who are or can be considered "in waiting" or on another teams GM list.
Gilbert is in complete overhaul mode. Ask another billionaire owner Mark Cuban how that works out?????????????????

Delonte's contract is why they might trade him like devil said. Teams can save a decent chunk of money by cutting him.

Denial?

No, you are just some punk bitch troll who doesn't pay attention to any news outside of the ESPN media group.

Grant has been the GM in the wings for quite some time. It was a given that when Ferry would leave Cleveland that Grant would immediately step in and take the reigns.

The collapse of the Cavs doesn't compare to that of Big Ben. Has anyone's fall from grace been as quick as his was?

I just hope the Steelers don't embarrass the Browns as bad as they did on Dec. 11, 2009.

Edit: I hope the Steelers embarrass themselves as bad a they did on Dec. 11, 2009.

Honestly, I agree with Skyhook. I am entirely convinced that SQ's blatant arrogance throughout the season came back to cost the Cavs.

Its ironic that you used the words "Ben" and "fucks" in the same post. Now you just need to work in "girls" "against" "their" "will". And remind me, what happened the last time the Steelers played the Browns? Feel free to go ahead and remind us how the Steelers have won 6 championships now...in a what have you done for me lately world, nobody cares.
