I actually saw Jonah Hill in Manhattan about a month or two ago, and he looked "slimmer." Not sure when they filmed this movie, but he is HUGE in it, but in-person (while still fat) he didn't look as bad.

I went to the advance screening of this on Tuesday night at the Lennox in Columbus.

I'll be honest, I hadn't even seen the previews and won tickets to the screening...so I figured what the hell after I googled it, I like Jonah Hill and thought it could be funny.

The movie was hilarious. I rate it up there with "The Hangover" and "Super Bad" as one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. There was a seen about halfway through that was about 2 minutes straight of constant, non-stop belly laughter. I hurt, had tears in my eyes and was coughing by the end of it because I was laughing so hard...the whole theater was.

I would recommend it to everyone (unless you're offended by cursing). A+. I will see it again, and I will own it when it comes out on DVD.

I second this. The movie was absolutely hilarious. Russell Brand is the GOAT.

Oh and are you talking about the Jeffrey scene? Because the theatre literally was laughing out loud for 4 straight minutes.

Yes...the Jeffrey scene. My god...I thought I was going to die.

The movie came down at the end (hilarity), but in a good way. The script was good enough to do that, though. Some movies try and fail...this one was all win.

Funniest movie I've seen in forever. Way better than the Hangover. Pretty much non-stop laughing. May go see it again sunday. Definitely worth the $$$$

P Diddy was really funny and I did laugh a lot, but I didn't think it was as good as Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

It was funny and I laughed a ton, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as Superbad or the Hangover.

Saw it last night and was a little disappointed. Definitely not better than forgetting Sarah Marshall or Superbad but not awful either. I'll give it a C+

And holy shit.....johan hill's neck fat was incredible. Most prolific thing in the entire movie

My brother went and saw it and said it was alright but nothing special. Definitely not on the level of Hangover. They estimate it will make 17 or 18 mil this weekend which is what I figured it would make.

I think it was definitely better than Superbad and the Hangover. I think P Diddy was really funny in it, I didn't expect him to be like that.

I guess I will have to go see it if people are saying it's better than Superbad and Hangover.

My friends and I all agreed that it was funnier than FSM, but not as good (as in, the plot and story was better in FSM).

Funny movie. P Diddy was very funny and the Jeffrey scene had the theater in stitches.

I agree to some level. I think Get Him to the Greek had more punch you in the face type of humor and I did laugh a lot and some may prefer that type of humor and there's nothing wrong with that. However, I think FSM had a lot of subtle humor in it (the songs were far better) and FSM's story was FAR better IMO. Get Him to the Greek seemed to drag once they got to the point where they were like "crap, this is a movie, not a series of skits, we have to wrap this up"! I thought the threesome scene at the end was just weird and totally unrealistic.

I guess a lot of my grade comes from re-watchability. I have watched FSM at least 5-10 times. I don't know how many times I could watch GHTTG, but I know it isn't close to 5-10.

The songs in GHTTG couldn't hold a candle to those in FSM. You could definitely tell Jason Segel wasn't involved in writing the songs in GHTTG.

IMO the major differentiator between the two was the writing. FSM's was much crisper and had a better story. Plus, again, like trep14 says, the music was a big part of what made FSM so great

I felt disappointed watching it. Yes, it had it's funny moments (Jeffrey, Dildo girl) and others but I was an ok movie. Half the shit they showed in the previews wasn't even in the movie. No way is this better than FSM, SuperBad, or The Hangover. I would put this movie in the ranks of Pineapple Express and Grandmas Boy.

I don't get all of the love for "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." The movie was just okay for me. Again, I thought this movie was hilarious, and it's in my Top 5 for all-time comedies.
