I find myself not watching hardly any MLB or NBA lately. I have very little interest in either sport once my team is eliminated(Cavs and Indians..who suck balls).

My question is....

Once your team is eliminated, do you still follow the sport...any sport?

Depends on the sport and who is left in it. I won't watch the NBA finals at all this year and I guess I'll have to watch something besides ESPN since that is all they will be discussing for the next two weeks. I would probably watch the World Series regardless unless its Yankees/Mets.

I really don't have any interest in the Lakers or Celtics, so other than flippin to check the score....I won't watch any. I would probably feel different if it was someone like Oklahoma City or Portland. As for baseball, it is dominated by the big markets always, so I just don't care...although, I would probably watch the world series if someone like Minny made it in. The NFL...I can watch no matter what.

Depends on who's playing. I would have watched the Suns in the finals. And if someone besides the Cardinals or Yankees make the World Series I'll probably watch it.

Don't have a favorite NBA team, only time I ever really watch is the playoffs, so I'll watch some of the Finals. MLB won't watch if it's the Yankees. NFL I will watch no matter who is playing

Yeah I watch baseball and football no matter who is playing. Not much of a NBA guy, but I don't have a favorite team and I still watch it occasionally.

I'll still watch the NBA playoffs.

I'll catch an Indians game or two, but it's hard to watch at times...

Thankfully I have the World Cup coming up in about 10 days, because I wouldn't have anything else until football season.

Being a Lions fan, I would hardly ever watch any NFL Games after the regular season if my habit was to quit watching after my team was eliminated. I watch football but not with any great passion. Being a Pistons' fan, I would hardly ever watch any NBA post season action if my habit was to quit watching after my team was eliminated. I watch basketball, but not with any great passion. Being a Tigers' fan, I would hardly ever watch any MLB Post season games if my habit was to quit watching after my team was eliminated. I watch baseball, but not with any great passion, and finally, I occasionally have the opportunity to have a little sports passion by following the Wings, but generally speaking, being a Detroit sports fan my whole life, it has allowed me lots of time to concentrate on other than athletic pursuits and I'm sure my wife is eternally grateful that I was born in Detroit.

Just football. Could care less after the Cavs and Tribe (usually after the first week) are eliminated.

In football, I like the Browns, yet I hardly watch them, as I'd rather watch two good teams play each other. And I watch the NFL just about every time it's on.

For the NBA, I don't get too caught up in the regular season, but will watch the featured Sunday games. I watch the playoffs religiously.

I'm not a baseball fan, but I have found myself watching it more with the Reds in first place. I like to see them do well, but the only team I ever really have an interest in watching are the Yankees.

Pens out after two rounds of the SCP, the Pirates suck and I refuse to watch and I'm not an NBA guy. Just waiting for the World Cup to start.

NFL-Yes
NHL-Yes
MLB-It will be on but I will not necessarily be paying attention to it
NBA-Don't more than 10-15 minutes per year so no. Only reason I watch is if Kevin Martin is playing(from same high school).

I'll follow more college ball than anything should my team be eliminated, pro sports not so much.

NBA-If the Lakers,Celtics or Mavs are in the finals I watch if not I don't

The NBA for me is difficult to follow once the Cavs are out. But other sports I still follow. This year's Stanley Cup Final is a good example. Last night was some awesome hockey!

NHL mostly just the Pens

NBA sporadically

only in football.

i don't follow MLB at all, and the NBA I don't really care (either negatively or positively) enough about any other team than Cleveland.

that said, a Boston LA series will probably pull me in if I'm not doing something else, but I won't make time to see the games.
