Jack's Bar-B-Que was amazing. It was suggested to me by multiple natives as the best in Nashville. I absolutely loved it. It is right in the downtown/bar scene

Loveless Cafe if you want "traditional" Nashville cuisine. It is a bit of a drive. 98% of the time I was there I was a poor college student so I didn't go to the nice places! I hit the quarter wings and 1$ PBR places.

Rotier's in the Vandy area near Elliston Place. Best burgers and shakes in the country, I believe.
Cock of the Walk out past Opryland on the access road next to Briley Parkway is also a great place. Seafood, fried onion rings, cornbread tossed in the air by the waiters. Awesome.
I agree with Manhattan. Have been to Loveless many times out Rt. 100 east of town. Great biscuits even though world-renowned Mama Fay passed away a couple of months ago and no longer roams the kitchen.
