Our third child is graduating this Saturday evening. I just put 25 pounds of pork in roasters (half today, half tomorrow) for her party which is also Saturday. She will be attending Ashland this fall and is very excited and ready to go. It really does get so much easier with each one to send them away. ;) I keep telling my husband we are 3/4 done. :)

Anyone else have someone graduating, are graduating or are just going to all the parties to drink free beer???

My seester graduates this weekend. My mom has been pondering how she is going to feed the party and I think I've convinced her of the same thing we did for him--Quaker Steak and Lube caters!

We got 1,000 wings for my graduation party, they were gone in the first hour and a half. Pissed me off, while I was busy shaking hands and kissing babies all my wings got eaten. :( But I got paid. :)

GF graduates from Vet School on the 13th. I have to sit my ass in the heat of the Horseshoe for her name to not even get called and listen to some guy I have never heard of who was a President Clinton adviser.

My sister recently graduated from the New School in NYC with her master's in non-profit management. She is now officially the most educated out of my parents' children.

Nah, she's my goody two-shoes kid. She stayed with her sister at Kent and decided a big party school wasn't for her. Now my second one spent a year at Ohio Dominican and can't wait to get to Kent. (He also stayed there with his sister ;) )

And I Wear Pants, she's got it down to $11,600, thank God.

I went to Ashland. Liked my classes and it was okay but I just couldn't justify the cost.Transferred to YSU and now I don't have that nagging feeling of losing money 24/7.

Yeah, we help them out as much as we can, but they still are going to take on some of the debt themselves and had she had to pay full price I would have strongly discouraged it. A teacher doesn't need to graduate with 100k in student loans.

I just graduated from John Carroll University graduate school with my MBA this past Sunday (May 23rd). Tom Brokaw was the honorary speaker. It was a great ceremony and a wonderful day.

After many interviews I received a good offer and am now employed as of the first of last week. So I actually started work one week before graduation.
