I agree with that. But I would laugh if someone thought this was a bad argument for socialized medicine but a good reason to change immigration rules.

This is good for us, of course, and we should try to make it happen regardless of whether the rest of the world had or not.

Just saying that the concerns expressed here were the exact same concerns expressed by many of other nations before they got rid of the "birthright" model.

I'm ok with the kids being citizens, however, the parents should still be deported, and if they want their kids to stay with them, then the kids go too. However, the kids when they are 18 are legally allowed back in since they are citizens.
