In fact, chocolate milk contains the same carbohydrate to protein ratio that some recovery drinks contain, which is four grams carbohydrates per gram of protein. Thus, for athletes who can tolerate milk before, during or after exercise, it can be a good choice. It may also be less expensive than commercial power drinks.

Whey protein is not whey protein. There is Whey Protein concentrate and Whey protein isolate. Concentrate proteins could only contain anywhere between 30%-89% actual usable protein with higher levels of fats and carbs. Where as Isolate in at least 90% protein and very very small amounts of fats, carbs, and lactose. The difference is in the filtration methods to extract the whey from milk.

As far as Jack3D, I tried it and really did not feel an effect from it. How many scoops do you guys take of it? I might just have a large tolerance, it does take 3scoops of NO Xplode for me to feel anything even the very first time I took it.

I just stopped taking Jack3d. I never took less than 3 scoops and after a bottle and a half I don't feel it as much. Gonna go off for a a few weeks then start again.

You have to cycle it or your body will build up a tolerance. I've heard either 3 weeks on, 1 week off or 2 weeks on, 1 week off work well.

As mentioned, NO Xplode is NOT protein or creatine. It's a nitric oxide that is supposed to act like Viagra on the muscles. NO Xplode is pretty decent but if you want the shit as far as preworkout supplements, Jack3D by USP Labs is like crack for workout fiends.
NO-Xplode has the unique ability to get you dialed in and pumped up for every single workout by inducing the strongest and most advanced nitric oxide, creatine, and body-mind stimulating surge ever developed in a supplement. No other products can say that! No other products can do that!
From the website of the product.

Daquan Cook recently presented a check to Eastwood High School as part of the Got Milk campaign. The weight room supervisor had a vending machine with chocolate milk put in the gym so kids could use it as a post workout drink.

Correction. It DOES have a minimal amount of creatine in it but if you're looking to get the full creatine effect you are going to want to take addidtional creatine postworkout. It has creatine in it but that's not it's purpose. You take it for the nitric oxide.

Since this keeps getting deleted b/c I put someone else's name in it, I'll rephrase.

Ernest T. Bass tells me he gets his daily does of protein from semen.

Oh yeah, I wasn't trying to say it's a creatine supplement. Just that it has creatine in it so you should be aware of that. I hate when supplements have creatine in them and don't really disclose it.

For example, you might not know it but the Body Fortress protein from Walmart has creatine in it. And not a very small amount either.

Be careful with the protein supps. I used to use ON a lot. I bought the Cookies and Cream flavor. Awesome taste even in water. I looked at the Nutrional info after I bought it and noticed "high fructose corn syrup" I try to stay away from this regardless of where it shows up on the ingredient list. I don't believe all their flavors have it so read the nutritional info carefully.

So for those who use ON, what flavors do you like the best (including when mixed with water)? Thanks again for your input.

Milk chocolate.

Lately I've just been blending it with milk, a banana, and some peanut butter.

Of course I'm trying to gain weight so I don't mind the calories.
