I've got an idea for a logo for OhioChatter but I don't personally have the skills to execute exactly what I want. Throw up a link to your portfolio if you might be interested in helping out.

I am willing to either pay or include a "logo designed by:" with a link to your website or email in the footer. This logo will not be used with the site as it currently stands. There will be new software/theme coming soon.

I went to college (#2) for Graphic Design and have the programs on my computer to do such work. Don't judge my huddle work on my real skills...I do those in about 30 seconds. :)

I don't have a portfolio, but am confident that I could do a logo for you, and I would be happy to donate it at no cost.

Justin, check with Ernest T Bass. I've seen some quality stuff he's come up with in the past.

This is the general idea of what I want. I think I want to get rid of the bubble on the left and just use the bubble with the outline of ohio and put Ohio Chatter inside it. In case it doesn't show up well, there is a white outline on the bubbles.



This is the font I want to use (Light or Regular):

Colors would need to match this theme. This logo would be replacing the "vBulletin" logo.

looks kinda like the facebook logo. we aren't going to be violating anything warranting a certified letter from them will we???

if JJhuddle is the big leagues, Facebook is like the NFL. definitely don't wanna step on their toes...

The font doesn't look like what you have...but it's exactly what you said.

Also, when we get a "finished product" we can save it as a *BMP file with the white frame...I just posted it as a *JPG for ease.

Font looks funny and I think Ohio needs to be lower on the state. The gap betwixt them is too much.

If I had my way:
1. You could use the Ohio shaped message box as the "O" in Ohio.
2. Inside the Ohio "message box" have and interlocked OC like the Marietta College Logo
3. Below the Ohio (with message box "O") have the word Chatter

Actually, I can throw the text in there exactly how I want it if I re-use the exact outline of Ohio that I already have.

If you think you can improve upon the design or something show us. Even if it is just a quick sketch that can be cleaned up.
