Definitely not a fan of them! .... Having to wait 4 days in between games 2 and 3 is awfully excessive. I mean sure it gives teams like Boston help by resting our older players ... But the more I think about it gives the Magic 4 more days to become rusty again lol.. I just like the 1 day off maybe 2 if you're flying across country say from Boston to L.A. in the Finals.

I think there should be one day off between games and 2 for travel. Except whe its 1-1-1 for the last three games

Which literally makes no sense and backfires imo. Casual fans lose interest, and without a game every night people lose track of time/day of when the games are being payed.

I think its worse in baseball when teams can go 2 full weeks without a day off, and in the playoffs the most they play is 2 in a row.

i dont think any other sport changes their rythym like the NBA does. why would you change the way you play just for the post season?

yeah but i think that is pretty rare though. fridays and mondays are usually the off/travel days. atleast they are still playing back to back like they do in the regular season and not taking 3-4 days off between games.

Although I don't like it, I understand the layoffs in the earlier rounds to maximize the games they can put on TV.

However with two series going right now, there is absolutely no reason to not have a game on each night.

The NBA acts like these teams are traveling coast to coast on a bus. They have charted planes and can get just about anywhere within a few hours.

Either way, you play 6 of 7 days every single week. I would love to see 2 in a row and then a day off every time. Regardless of travel.

If you think the schedule or anything else regarding the NBA play offs is about anything but the ca$h you are wrong.

And why on Earth would it be about anything else as far as the league is concerned?

I imagine that TNT and ESPN have something to do with this. Too many season enders from other shows(ABC's included) for games tonight but no reason why games shouldnt be on Fri/Sat and rest day Sunday(Lost, etc). I wonder how well the finals will do against the World Cup. Havent seen the schedule for either event for what teams the WC would have head to head with the NBA.

The NBA wants to give people ample time to enjoy the Greatest Basketball Player in the World, waiting until Sunday afternoon is a long time between games but it will be well worth the wait.
Enjoy it now because he has only about 5 to 6 more years before he peaks.

They won't be going against each other. The latest start every day for World Cup games are 2 PM (EDT) due to the time difference.
