For those of you who are coming to GABP for the first time or don't come often, I'd recommend Mezzanine level tickets so you have a great view of the new scoreboard, river, and you are right on top of the field for a good price.

What are we going to do to pre-game?

Go to a bar? Tailgate in one of the parking lots with some booze and cornhole?

I'm going to guess a bar would be the best bet, but if someone knows where people actually tailgate I'm down for that.

I'm going to suggest the parking lot outlined in red. It is across from the old Gameday's (which I just learned is now a dueling piano bar).

It's a quick, easy walk to the stadium and away from the huge crowded parking lots.

I am down to tailgate (DTT)...but I also wouldn't mind just going to a bar. Whatever you Cincinnati folk think is best is fine with me.

I think with this being the Ohio series the bars will be PACKED. I think tailgating will be a little more comfortable (and obviously cheaper).

I have no idea what lot that is. I don't know that I've ever really seen people tailgate at Reds games.

You've never been to Gameday's? Or out in front of One Lytle Place on Pete Rose Way?

I've seen people tailgate before. Not a lot, but I've seen it before.

In fact, this is where I got the idea for that lot:

Closer view of the lot for you, sej. The far right is the entrance to the Purple People bridge.

We tailgated in this lot last year for a buddies bachelor party. We were in the upper right hand corner of the lot, we were probably the only people there tailgating.

That looks like a good spot. What time are you guys planning on getting to the lot to start tailgating?

I'll try and get there as early as I can. I wonder when you can start parking there for the game?

Fab4 and I are staying at the Quality Inn.

I'm thinking about parking at Fountain Square and either walking(been told it's an ok walk) or taking a cab back and forth from the hotel. Any thoughts??
