Saw it happen during the game. Not a bright move at all by Boateng. Chicken shit tackle is right.

Just watched what happened, Boateng definitely used poor judgement and no doubt wanted to send Ballack a message due to what happened earlier, but I don't think he meant to take him out like that.
regardless, he did and should be held accountable.
But wow, BIG loss for Germany. Sucks to lose your captain and leader with so little time before the World Cup.

Worst part for Germany (not a huge deal, but just bad timing) is that it happened right after the 30 man squad was announced so they cant replace him with someone else. They effectively now just have a 29 man squad to choose from.
