I don't know but they should have IMO.

If he doesn't try to take the short hop, it's an easy out.

Nah, i dont think that was an error...that was a tough bounce while he was moving to his left..no way can you EXPECT a 3rd basemen to make that play.

Wasn't ruled an error, my mistake. Still think it's an easy(guess I should say easier) play if he doesn't try and take the short hop; but oh well, Cueto got out of it with nothing hurt.

I only caught a glimpse of the replay, just looked in... Either way, it was definitely too close to take.

I don't think swinging was an option. He was so fooled he would have missed it a mile. His only hope was that it was called a ball, and the ump rightly called it a srike.

That's the pitch he's made a living off of hitting. Always shoots that low and outside pitch to right field.
