Not over yet. Celtics only up 9 now. But this definitely can help kill the myth that Cleveland 'lost' the series against Celtics. Boston won it. And beating up on the team that was picked by many to win the east (Orlando) only clarifies that.

....and maybe it was the Celtics D that gave Lebron fits because Orlando has been horrible on offense today.

Celtics d has a lot to do with Howards poor numbers....Rashard Lewis on the other hand, has missed tons of open looks.

Boston up by 17th in 4th, Magic made a run but never even had a shot to tie it, so yes, game was a lot more of a blowout than the score indicates. If Celtics keep playing this well they're going to win the championship.

Celtics played aight today. They did good on Howard.

I don't think they will win this seres, and even if they're playing "like this", then I will be more than confident in the Lakers winning it all, assuming that Bynum's leg isn't amputated between now and then.

Wondering where the guy who was "masturbating thrice daily with the tears" of Celtic fans is right now

The Celtics are certainly peaking and playing to their potential as of late, but Orlando looked just flat out rusty after having nearly a week off.

I still see this series going 6 or 7 games.

I am still masturbating to their gypsy tears, my friend.

In fact, I would love nothing more than for them to be stupid enough to win this series and advance to the Finals.

I pray daily that that is the case.

Celtics up 2-0 in the series. Maybe their series against the Cavs wasn't a fluke after all.

After game two of the Cavs Celts series I predicted that this years ECF would be a reprise of last years with the grizzled tough winner of the celtics and cavs series winning the conference finals over the magic who have looked great against two teams that just laid down for them, like the pistons and hawks did for the cavs last year. That prediction is looking good.

I know it wasn't a fluke. I watched the same 6 games as everyone else, and after 6 games it was clear that Boston was the better team. I thought the Cavs were better than the Magic, which is why I picked the C's to beat them after they got by the Cavs. Boston is just talented and deep and GOOD. Period. And they're coming together at the right time to play great team basketball...that's what it's all about.

I know isn't it? It's weird that a team that collapsed is 2 wins away from the NBA finals, and if they keep up this play, this team that collapsed is going to be champions.

We can obviously look back at that topic and laugh at it now.

But in all seriousness, no one expected this from the Celtics. There were times during the regular season where they didn't look that great, but I give them credit for having their eyes on the prize. They made sure they peaked at the right time and just play so well together.

I was impressed with them against Cleveland, but still didn't think they would beat Orlando, however I was wrong. They are outplaying Orlando in every way. I don't know if they can beat the Lakers, but they are the best that the East has to offer.

I don't want to get ahead of ourselves and look towards a Lakers vs. Boston finals, but Boston really matches up well with them.

^^^ Agree with you Dynasty

The Celtics are playing at their peak potential right now, and their peak potential is better than anyone in the NBA except MAYBE the Lakers.

The Celtics of the regular season were beaten down and injured, but they're completely rested up and getting great production from everyone (relative to their role on the team).

The Cavs simply got outplayed, and I said it on this thread 10 days ago that if the Celtics keep playing like this they're going to win the championship.

Then don't be a fucking idiot and make a stupid thread and then try and backtrack about your "intent" when your thread clearly becomes a joke. At least man up and say you thought the Cavs would blow out the Celtics because of how old and broken down you thought they were, like EVERYONE thought they were, and instead the Celtics circa 2008 + an extremely improved Rondo outplayed Cleveland and are in the process of outplaying Orlando too.

LOL, I'm the idiot...when the fuck did I backtrack? Just because you took it the wrong way doesn't mean I backtracked. And when the C's proved they were better than the Cavs, I was the first to admit I was wrong about them. Now you're telling me to man up? Pay attention moron.

I honestly hope you keep bringing up the collapse thread, because I seriously LOL EVERY time. You think you're slamming me or something, and it's quite hilarious. Like I told you on that thread, I could give 2 shits whether or not you believe me--the whole thing was misunderstood. It's funny how not many people questioned it when it was first posted--because it was understood due to the timing of the whole thing. But when you bring old threads back up at times when they are no longer relevant and things have been forgotten, no wonder you think there is something fishy about it. Not to mention, the thread asked a question--who said you had to agree with it? It's just really funny that you want to try to bruise my credibility so bad because I probably made you look like a fool in the past, that you're willing to go to great lengths and ignore facts to do it. Pointer--that ISN'T how you build credibility.
