Modell because Cleveland is still and will always be a football town first.

Modell, and it's not even close. As great as LeBron is, he would not be taking the entire franchise from the city.

When Modell took the Browns, there was no guarantee that Cleveland would ever have an NFL franchise again.

No comparison. Modell was NEVER loved in Cleveland.

The kid (Lebron) basically saved the franchise. Gilbert/Ferry had PLENTY of time to construct a winner. IF he wants to win, a dude can only take SO much of the letdowns. It would be like you being a wing man for one of your boys and night in and night out having to "dive on the grenade" by doing the hot chicks fat tagalong. Shit would get OLD after awhile.

I won't begrudge him if he leaves but he could have gone out better than looking like he didn't care and tanking it in a few of the last games.

I won't hate Lebron like Modell. You can't really call him a "sell-out" either because essentially, if goes elsewhere, he will make LESS money.

Not even close, it's Modell.

Cleveland will ALWAYS be Browns town. Always. The question about whether it was becoming a Cavs town from earlier in the year is still laughable.

Taking the team vs. leaving the team.

I for one will like LeBron once he leaves. Might even cheer him on, although doubtful.

I'm tired of the LeBron Cavaliers fans, of it being LeBron at Chicago, LeBron at Philadelphia, Hawks at LeBron... The Cavs didn't lose Game 6 at Boston. LeBron lost at Boston. At least that's how it is with the fans I know.

Its hard to admit, but if LBJ leaves, I'll probably quit following the NBA. I was always a cavs fan growing up, but it just seemed like the older I got, the less I cared. Then LBJ got drafted and I started following them, but not the rest of the league like I did before. I don't know, it feels like I'm only a casual fan at best anymore and without a successful team to root for, I'll probably quit following altogether.

If all of you would just become Xavier basketball fans you would be much more accustomed to losing people to places they feel are better.

My lucky streak so far has been those people have never won a championship either. I will immediately wish that on Lebron as well. I'm usually pretty good at it.

It will always be a football city first though. Modell doesn't feel safe coming to town when the Ravens are on the schedule @ Cleveland. That is saying something right there.

For me it'll be Lebron since I never was a Browns fan (though Modell is still a tremendous douche). Don't talk about how loyal you are to Akron and your fans and then take a shit in the playoffs and bolt. He leaves I hope he never makes it past the first round of playoffs again.
