I'm not saying this series is over by any means... But IF Cleveland wins game 6 IN Boston what makes you so sure game 7 is a lock? Boston has pretty much dominated every game in Cleveland except for the 10 minutes Mo Williams had a out of body experience in Game 1, Just sayin... But I look for Boston to come out just like game 5 despite playing well in every game on the road in these playoffs game 7's the home team has the biggest advantage... Boston by 15 to close out the series.

Hasn't Boston played better on the road most of season than at home? I think they had the league's best road record.

It's amazing how the tone of this thread has changed since just before the play-offs began. Before the play-offs began the Cav's fans stood united and confident. The Celtics would be no match for the Cav's. The Cav's would steam-roll Boston and roll through the playoffs, claiming their first NBA Title and riding off into the sunset. now it seems that while the Cav's "ship" is still sailing, although starting to take on considerable water, there are clearly an ever growing number of "rats" who have jumped overboard and are swimming as fast as they can away from their recent statements of confindence in the Cav's. My goodness Cav's fans, I think there has to be four Celtic victories before the fat lady can start singing and the last time I checked, the series was only 3-2 and the Cav's were still alive. Did the Celtics win an extra game that I didn't hear about??

Why the hell do people put an apostrophe in Cavs?

It's CAVS not Cav's.

JA Andande finally comes through with the CORRECT way to view game 5 from LeBron.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2010/columns/story?columnist=adande_ja&page=lebron-100512

Like I said, no excuses, he played like shit--but the panic has been out of control.

And Abbott with some intelligence...

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/15845/forget-lebron-whats-wrong-with-cleveland-fans

Cowherd made a good point too. LeBron was 0-5 at half, and he was the Cavs leading scorer. He got no help. We watched Kobe put up terrible games against OKC--his teammates won anyways. Dwight Howard fouling out against Charlotte. His team wins anyways. LeBron's supporting cast is pathetic, still. We've overhyped them and they haven't shown up--just like last year, every team left in the playoffs has two A players--except the Cavs. LeBron is clearly frustrated. Can't wait to see the game tonight though. I have a strong feeling that he will put the doubt to rest. Hopefully the rest of the team follows suit.

It's amazing how everything calms down and people start thinking clearly after a few hours...

Or, you know, you could buy into the conspiracy that since every other semi's series only went 4 games, David Stern is making this go 7...maybe LeBron was just following the bosses orders. ;)

According to Chris Broussard, LeBron is already a Bull.

Speaking of which, Broussard is a pussy.

He tweeted after Game 5 that he had to battle Skip on first take and said he wouldn't go down w/o a fight.. Well, he didn't even put up a fight. He even said LeBron is most likely to go to Chicago now.

Fortunately, I don't buy that one bit. LeBron wants his own legacy, not to follow in somebody elses.

He said he wants to turn the Cavs into a championship team and I believe him until proven otherwise.

Yeah, I mean that would make sense.... If game 1 of the ECF wasn't scheduled to start the same day as Game 7 of this series if Boston were to win tonight.

So either way, Stern has a game on that day. :)

Watching ESPN yesterday, I first witness Broussard say one thing on Mike and Mike, and something completely different on 1st and 10. So yes, he is a pussy. Sad to say, I used to like him, but today he lost cred with me. He buckled to the media BS of harping on LeBron as much as possible because it gets ratings and it's a cheap easy way to try and motivate him. Which makes for highlights. But yeah, fuck Broussard. IF the Cavs come out and win tonight by 20 and LeBron goes for 60, 15 and 12, it should be interesting to see what he has to say. Him and a lot of other people.

And I think Stern would rather have game 7 than game 1 of the ECF. He's gotta be rooting for every series to go 7 games.

In the Sportsnation poll, 49 of the 50 states are picking against the Cavs.

Can't wait.

I bet no one can guess.

And any of you who are wondering--yes, I have been up all night. Thank you adderall, fuck you finals. And despite all our difference, let me take a moment to be a tool and say thank you to everyone here. You keep me sane, believe it or not. Studying BS for so long requires an interesting distraction. So in my best mantooth style, I love you all. No homo.

That's the same mindset of the series being over after 5 games. Let it play out, you never know what can happen.

I hope we see more of this:

And listen to LeBron in that video. He got booed during game 5, he didn't throw the fans under the bus. He said he'd boo too. He gives the fans credit all the time--he loves the fans, give him the respect he deserves. He's going to come out and fight for the city of Cleveland tonight.

I would like to see Brown use his quick/younger lineup at times. The Cavs biggest strength in the series is their depth........lets use it

Just think in 24 hours, we will have a thread started for "who's our new coach?" OR "Cavs vs C's--game 7!!!"

If they lose, "who's our new coach" won't be the only thread. I expect this place will blow up and make the game 5 reaction look like child's play.
