To compensate for the spin and drift of the bullets as they flew the length of 25 football pitches, Cpl of Horse Harrison reportedly had to aim 6ft high and 20ins to the left.

the scary part to this is the fact that at 1.54 miles, chuck norris with no gun is still just as lethal.

The difficult thing from that distance is that you actually have to start taking into account the curvature and spin of the Earth into how you aim.

That's bad ass.

I'm researching the Proliferation Security Initiative for work, and what prompted it was the 2002 interception of the North Korean ship So San by Spanish Marines. Spanish snipers shot out the main ship mast cable, allowing Spanish Marines to repel down from a choper onto the vessel.

Pretty cool.
