Oops! What a mistake by the keeper.

An empty net goal from about 30 yards out for Villa.

Chile has a fucking idiot for a goal keeper. He should seriously not go home.

VILLA! Goal from some 50 yards! Barcelona players have a habit of goals like that. Check out what Pedro did a few months ago (second angle is sick).

So at what point does Fernando Llorente get his shot up top with Villa? Torres has just been bad. Del Bosque only took 3 forwards so his options are limited. He has 6 wingers on the squad, so he may go Barca style with 2 wingers as he did in the first game....but they lost. Interesting to say the least.

Goal Iniesta and Estrada with his (3rd) yellow, second officially. He is gone, and he may have just killed his teams chances on GD if Swiss can win.

Soft yellow, but he should be gone, so I really dont have sympathy haha. I actually have little doubt that the Ref gave him a yellow because he fouled again and after letting him go the last time, said "You wanna keep testing my patience? Go take a fucking shower."

Looked like accidental contact (and a bit of a flail of the arms) on Torres...I fail to see that call

It wasnt really a card or even a foul (advantage). But the dudes a dumbass. He was lucky he didnt get a straight red for kicking Torres, then he got a SURE yellow and only got a foul, then this. The ref had to be fed up.

But it didn't even look like he fouled him...he was just jogging back and his foot clipped Torres' foot. He didn't look down or anything, just accidently clipped Torres' foot and Torres flailed out and got the card. Smart play by Torres, unfortunate for Chile. They've been playing pretty well so far outside of a goalkeeper blunder and that red card (Spain's second goal was a very good goal, nothing Chile could do on that).

Thats true, but Torres was in a very advantageous position. You could argue 85% of fouls arent purposeful. I see your point, but you take out a player making an open run in the box it is usually gonna be a foul. The card was unfortunate...but I truly think the ref was just fed up with Estrada's play so far.

Estrada should have already been gone so it doesn't really matter.

Yeah I agree on Estrada..he was being a little bitch the entire game, and was extremely annoying against Switzerland.

I love watching Chile play, so I hope Switzerland end up in a tie.

Same here. One of the only teams who is just all out attack, and they have the players to get it done. Their finishing blows though.

Efan Ekoku with the commentary line of the tournament:

"(camera pans to show two women cheering with flags, one Chile and one Spanish fan) Good camera work."

BTW, this thread has been great, but for the rest of the match-ups I think Im gonna make individual game threads. I think we can have more structured debates and discussion this way.
