We are 14th in the world, but every single soccer person knows how fucked up Fifa rankings are. We play shit teams all the time (Mexico is about the toughest team we play on a consistent basis). Thus, our good results send us up the rankings. Yes, we are better than Algeria. But Ghana and us are a toss up. Ghana plays tough teams every year in qualifying and in the African Cup of Nations. Same with European teams who play qualifying and in the Euro's. Even smaller South American teams play much tougher qualifying. They lose and tie these games and rankings suffer. When in fact, a team like Uruguay IS INDEED better than the USA, but the retarded Fifa system has them 2 spots behind us at 16. I dont even want to know where they were 2 years ago before they ran through qualifying finishing just behind Brazil, and well ahead of Argentina.

Then you have idiots saying shit like, we should have killed Algeria, we are a super power compared to them.... By that train of thought, Spain should have a World Cup trophy shouldnt they? Well, they dont. Neither does Portugal or the Netherlands. France just got their first in 1998, and England doesnt have one since 1966. Hell even the small nation of Uruguay has TWO championships. But I bet we should roll over them if we meet in the Quarters as well.....

Are you serious sure the 2 of the first 3 are obviously way better but Joe Namath's SB victory are you serious? What was really so great about that sure back then people didn't come out and say "I guarantee we will win" but its also not like he had some amazing game either. He could have put so other events that could be argued that are better than Donovan's goal but to even mention Namath's SB victory with Owens or Miracle on Ice is even worse than putting Donovan's goal up there with them.
