Forlan can really fire it. I wanted that to go in!

Ive said it for the last 3 years. He is the most underrated player in the world. Id put him in the top 5 strikers on the planet. Probably just behind Messi and Rooney (Ronaldo if hes a forward)....

But yeah, he really looks like he is in the mood tonight. I would be shocked if he didnt score, or was a huge influence in a goal tonight.

Draw. I would have preferred that the French lose.

Are there any more games televised this evening? I am headed to a sports bar hoping to catch part of a game.

I don't think so. The next game is at 7 AM tomorrow, I think.

Well at least today is the only time for awhile that we only have 2 games. Im looking forward to 3 games a day from here on until 4 games the final four days of group play (of course 2 play at the same time to avoid result watching).

I figured South Africa would get at least a draw in that match. Playing at home is just an enormous advantage in the cup. I still like France and Uruguay to advance.

South Korea goes up 1-0 in the first 7 minutes. Interesting start to say the least.

I can't believe I'm up at 7:30 in the morning on a Saturday. That's the only bad thing about having the games in SA, the freaking time difference.

I loved the 2002 cup times. Staying up until 3 AM to watch games was awesome. Of course, I was 13 then. Now that I have to get up at 6:30 M-F to work, being up this early on a Saturday isn't nearly as much fun.

Still worth it though.

2-0 Korea. Nice pick on Greece as a dark horse, Alexi.

LOL, yeah, I was thinking about that pick watching this game. Greece looks awful.

My ESPNHD is not working, and watching in standard definition is making me a sad panda. All of my other HD channels are working except for ESPN and ESPN2. Even ESPNUHD is working.

Thankfully the U.S. is on ABC this afternoon.

Argentina looks good offensively, but they're losing the ball in the midfield and Nigeria has made some good counters...they are definitely vulnerable to a goal or two, but they'll put up 5 on Nigeria.

I don't really know anything about soccer but it seemed like Argentina played a real sloppy half

I just thought Nigeria's goalie decided to stand on his head in the first half. It could easily be 3-0 right now.

Nigeria's keeper is playing out of his mind.

The Messi WOrld Cup curse is certainly living on
