I'm enjoying every bit of it. I just have a problem with people who post hate garbage and don't have a single fact to support their argument.

It's someone's opinion of how Italy looks. Like me saying the Lakers look slow compared to last year. It's just their opinion. I don't think Italy looked great and I don't expect them to win it again either but that's just me.

..............the odds are they probably won't but it's not wise to right them off and history proves it. I'm just making the point that they always start off this way in the World Cup and get stronger as the tournament progresses.

That's your problem right there.

Just because it has happened in the past means NOTHING when talking about this year. If every single world cup in history, Italy has looked bad to start then wins every tournament..even then, it would have no baring on this World Cup.

Past performance is not a measurable, quantitative element.

If you want to look at Italy's performance and say "oh, they always do this..they'll be in it at the end" then that is perfectly fine. But when others look at it and say "they didn't look strong, I am going to write them off" they can do that, too. You telling them that is stupid because of past performance makes you look bad..real bad.

Wrong once gain, I've given plenty of facts but now you're making shit up like you always do.........please show me where I posted that Italy will win this thing? Typical garbage from you, you don't have a clue at how to respond to facts, so you just make shit up. The FACTS are, the Italians always start in this manner and get stronger as the tournament goes. Don't you have a toilet to go scrub?

It happens in every game, people just have to come to grips with the fact that simulation, like it or not, is a part of the game.

Yeah and its pathetic. I really like watching Ronaldo, hes probably one of my top 5 favorite players. I just can't stand when so called "professionals" act like that. During his last season at United and while at Madrid I thought he cleaned his act up.....guess not.

I'm pumped for Brazil. I hope they carve up the Koreans!!

I just finshed addressing a "toilet scrubber" and now on to a "burger flipper". You guys just don't get it, Brazil's past performances have no effect on them being a prohibitive favorite in every WC........right?

Just count them out, they're slow and have no talent what so ever. Yep, the country that has played more WC matches than any other nation has no chance at advancing in this tournament.

How much do you want to wager big mouth? I know toilet scrubbing doesn't pay well so we can keep it to a bare minimum if you like.

Brazil is a prohibitive favorite in virtually every world cup because their players are some of the best in the country lol it has nothing to do with their history. Are you seriously not understanding that? So if Italy's team was made up of nobodys who played in the Serie C, you wouldn't count them out because in 2006 a different Italy team won it all?

But Italy's team isn't made up of Serie C players, so your point is moot.

So, your telling me that Brazil's history of producing great players and the system they play has nothing to do with their success? If you believe that then there's no hope for you.

Maybe you don't understand the big picture, Italy produces world class players year in and year out and they have a proven system that WINS WC matches and titles.

I think this will be the last time FIFA allows an African Nation to host a WC in a long time.

-The horns are fucking annoying
-They can't even sell out games. How can you not fill a stadium for the World Cup?!?!?
-Its a summer event, and they are playing in the cold.

You're a fucking retard. Brazil is the favorite because they're always one of the most talented teams, not because of past performance.

I've gotten over the horns. From what I've heard/read everything is going great. Are you sure about the tickets? I'm not positive, but I thought they were about 97% sold?

Who cares about the weather. In Germany they were bitching because it was too hot.

So Brazil's past performances isn't a direct reflection of that talent? Why is Germany always considered a favorite.......Argentina?

And you want to call people retards, maybe you should look in the mirror.

I can't see how they sold 97% of the tickets when the majority of the games have half empty stadiums.

I haven't been able to watch as many games as I'd have liked to so far, but the ones I've seen have looked pretty full.

US vs England was packed for sure.

I read where pre-sold ticket sales were down. I believe they made those returned tickets available to the locals at reduced rates.

Agree on the crowds, every game I've watched thus far the stadiums seemed full.
