I loved The Freshman (still do), but this doesnt shock me too much as they have been irrelevant since the song. Might as well go a different route.

TECHNICALLY, the inspiration was just his GF having an abortion. He added the suicide for the sake of the song :D:D

Eddie Trunk was talking about them on That Metal Show about how his kids love to listen to the Giggles while they are in the car and how hes a big rock/metal guy listening to the Giggles with his kids.
