Alright quit arguing.

Interesting news nonetheless. To me, it seems like the writing has been on the wall for Haney for years, and he took a way out before he could be fired. Most people can agree that they liked Tiger's swing under Harmon more than under Haney.

Haney has been under so much media pressure also, and he may have just had enough.

No matter what it is, this year is definitely a wash for Tiger; I see him winning some tournaments down the line, maybe even late this year or at St. Andrews. But he will struggle much of the rest of the year. Golf really needs a younger player to step up and create some buzz. McIlroy would be a good choice, I just wish he was an American. I don't really care for Anthony Kim and I can't stand the way Rickie Fowler dresses on the course.


What do you think about this move Zwick? Is Tiger spiralling down, and his team are all jumping ship, or had this one been in the works for some time?

Alright for my insight....

Tiger needed a change and since he likes Hank he said "Hank I need a change.. I'm not going to fire you so I'll take the fall If you want to 'resign' " Everyone knows Hank is a good guy, but he and Tiger never seemed like a good fit to me. Tiger's swing was much better under Butch, but him and Harmon are done after Tiger threw Butch under the bus, blaming his knee on Butch's swing. I look for Tiger to hook up with Sean Foley. It's been the hot rumor now for a few months. In the practice round for the players, Tiger partnered O'Hair and Mahan and was seen talking to Foley during the round. Foley has admitted he wants to work for Tiger some day.. will they? I dunno.. but it seems as good of a match as any.

^^ decent insight. I agree with Haney and Tiger. Under Haney, it always seemed like Tiger was right on the edge of hitting that towering slice, due to the flat swing. With the kind of speed he creates in his downswing, he could really benefit from a guy like Foley, who has Mahan and O'Hair swinging pretty well, and more like Tiger should be swinging.

I do think Tiger and Hank became decent friends, and were probably introduced by O'Meara.

Mickelson has to be licking his chops at all this. He can win 2-5 more majors imo and become one of the best of all time, as long as his flat stick behaves. I think Tiger will get close to or break 18 majors, but it will take time. Remember, he is only 34.

Actually Mahan is one of my favorite golfers out there, I just wish he could be a bit more consistent.
