I think those that complain about marriage REALLY married the wrong girl.

I've been married for 10 years and have zero complaints. My wife is amazing and I couldn't ask for anything better to be honest.

I'll put it this way, I've never asked or expected this to be done, but every weekday before I get up for work I have my breakfast ready, lunch packed, and work clothes set out and ironed for me. She also will call me to find out for sure what time I'll be home from work so that she has dinner ready when I get home.

That's just a few of the many things she does without even being asked.

Work blocks photobucket, but by the name of the picture I can guess what it shows.

And just because someone has a wife that enjoys the "domestic" work around the house doesn't mean they are beating their wife.

...sherm, dropping the "C" word on your sister-in-law was probably...no deffinitely...not a good move, but that part of your upbringing I'll blame on your Dad. Let your soon to be bride handle her family.

4cards...I didn't actually call her a cunt. But I did make her aware of how bad she was hurting my fiancee, and may have said that she's acting like a bitch. But I know better than to call a chick a cunt to her face...you say that stuff behind their backs. LOL.

I'm pretty sure no one on OC has enough money in the bank to "buy" her from me.

Bill Gates might, but no one on the OC for sure :).

Stay out of the family business. When they make up, and they will, you'll be the bad guy. Listen to your fiance and let her vent but just nod and say "I know" once in awhile. Try reading the paper, it always worked for me.

I think it's best to stay out of your wife/girlfriend's disputes with her family, pretty much at all times.

The fact is that it is probably something super retarded, and something you would imagine 13 year old junior high students fighting over....Just listen to her side of the story, give feedback, it's OK to point out where she may be wrong (if she is the type that can handle it....I know some girls will girl-dick-punch you if you disagree with them, my wife can take it). It will blow over, depending on how close they are I suppose.

Exactly.
Sorry but I didn't say this!
I have a great wife and a wonderful marriage.

I said take her (girlfriend) to the courthouse and marry her today. Why should her sister have a say in anything

"...am married and have no complaints."

I'm guessing it isn't because you found the "right one." I'm guessing it has more to do with you being a whipped pansy who can't act like a man in front of his wife. Just a guess....

It is completely natural for men and women to disagree and have complaints. If you don't, there is seriously something wrong.

Did you actually read my whole post before replying?

Go back, read it again, and anyone with a 3rd grade level reading comprehension level will come to a different conclusion than you just did.

I took your advice and went back and read it again.

Apparent conclusion: I must be at a 3rd grade reading level.

Sorry, I don't see it any differently. :-/ Just because she makes you a sandwich without being asked doesn't make you not a pansy.

So every man that is happily married is a pansy? Really? Is your life that miserable?

He's def right. Every healthy relationship has arguments and fights, and it isn't how many you have or what they are about but how you fight. Example: If your calling each other terrible names every time instead of being mature then yeah maybe it isn't meant to be.

I never said we didn't fight, I said I have no complaints as in I'm perfectly happy with the marriage.

Having no complaints is not the same as never fighting or not having something get on your nerves.
