I'm not going to try and act like a serious Cavs fan or anything because I rarely watch any NBA games until playoff time, but Mike Brown really makes me scratch my head when I watch the Cavs. So far through the playoffs, I see a team who hasn't really discovered their best lineup and a coach who is extremely passive and untimely with his substitutions. I'm with the majority here, where is Gibson at? The kid proved himself in the playoffs back in 2007 and is a heck of a shooter, why not let him give you a spark since Mo is struggling?

In addition, I was really disappointed with LBJ's performance down the stretch. I kept waiting and waiting for him to take over in the 4th, but it never happened. His supporting cast just isn't good enough for him to be trying to get involved in crunch time. Giving up the ball so Varejao can shoot a 15 footer, really?

I know i just rehashed everything that's already been talked about here a dozen times, but it is very frustrating. I can't imagine how frustrating it is for you serious Cavs fans who follow this team the entire year.

i'm really getting tired of watching the cavs carry this team. why they just dont put them out of their misery is beyond me. when the cavs bring their "A "game boston cant even smell them. and why do boston fans continue to complain about officiating. i have noticed the celts get numerous calls.

I'm waiting on devil and SQ Crazies to make their pick for game 5. After they do that I am going straight to my bookie and putting my money on the team they don't pick. That strategy would work pretty well for me I think.

I actually tend to agree with Gibby on if the C's can win game 5, the series is theirs. Going into Boston in a must win situation for Cleveland doesn't sound good to me.

That being said, Cleveland wins game 5 and it probably goes 7.

I think the series is over in 6, with the Cavs closing it out.

Sorry Wildcats, but when the Cavs bring it, the Celtics aren't beating them. The same can be said for the Lakers out west.

The only team that truly scares me is still the Orlando Magic, so we'll see how it plays out.

BTW, I just read a piece today by John Hollinger about how the last 9 out of 11 NBA champs had severe struggles in the second round.

I said I'd be happy with a split in Boston, so now that it happened I have no reason to be upset. Wish we could have closed today, but it wasn't meant to be I suppose. Credit to Rondo for killing us, credit to Tony Allen for stepping up and being the difference maker for Boston.

Hard for me to even feel worried yet when I noticed one common thing from both losses: laziness. It's concerning because it shouldn't happen at this time of year, but it's controllable. We just need to regroup and protect home court. It's now a 3 game series, we have home court advantage, it's a clean slate. If we come out and let our defense dictate the game we'll be fine. I'm all for LeBron on Rondo and I'm all for Boobie getting minutes or us going big (whatever keeps Mo off the floor as long as he's going to be worthless). If he's going to be in there he needs to start being more aggressive on offensive. He's too hesitant and unsure of what he's doing, which doesn't surprise me that much. He's been that way since we got Jamison--he's not a true floor general PG, he's a scorer. He hasn't adjusted to his new role that well.

As far as LeBron goes, Boston is doing a GREAT job of making him get rid of the ball and not giving him anything easy. He needs to pick himself up a bit because it picks the whole team up--but the bottom line is, this isn't on LeBron right now. Guys have to make shots. Sure, LeBron averaged nearly 30 for the season, but thats less than a third of the points the team averaged. It's hard to win when other guys aren't making shots. But that problem becomes minimal when we control the game with our defense, not to mention getting stops always gets our offense going.

Still not sweatin' because I know we can play better than we have in both losses--just seem to be too many mental lapses, especially defensively. The only criticism I have of MB right now is that his rotations seem to have made it difficult for us to get any consistent chemistry going on on the court. They're just all over the place sometimes. Foul trouble certainly hasn't helped with that, and I agree that this series has been somewhat poorly officiated in both directions all series. Neither team has benefited from it from what I've seen, but it's certainly been annoying to hear a whistle every time down the floor. Oh well, they're still doing a pretty good job--they still get the vast majority of the calls right and they aren't changing the game.

Go Cavs, find that defense again back in the Q.

I have no problem with the split. If you would have told me that the Cavs would win game 3 after the way they played in game 2 I'd think you were an idiot. This is the C's last run and they know it, they werent going to go down without a fight. Cavs just need to come out ready to play in game 5 and take control of this series. They did exactly what they needed to do up there. Keep the faith fellas. Go Cavs

Might be time for Paul Pierce to have a good game, he has played like shit the whole series

I've been through some shit in my day, and my only advice is take advantage of the time and keep your friends close. I'm sure he'll make it through. Hopefully the Cavs can provide him with some extra motivation. Stay optimistic and don't forget to observe and learn from whatever happens. Tough situations are where we learn how to live and why we want to live.

Yeah, its been a crazy day. I graduated college on May 1st and he knew something was wrong but didn't tell anyone. My brother's one year wedding anniversary was May 2nd so they left for a vacation and my dad went to the doctor's this week. They waited until yesterday to tell us all together and he got the results from the tests back today.

Oddly enough, I got my 1st major job offer today and accepted it. So its a bittersweet day.

Gotta take the good with the bad.
