False. Not every big man has his presence and effect on a game. Some people are too stupid to see things that don't show up in the box score--which would explain someone like Footwedge who thinks +/- is the God stat. I'm loving what Shaq is doing, but he could easily have 21 points. He triple clutched on 1 open shot, allowing the defense to get back on him, then he traveled on a nice dime by Antawn.

There are plenty of bigs in the NBA that can do exactly what Shaq does, and they're about 10x cheaper.
