Thank God ONeal has picked up his 3rd and is headed for the bench. So sick of watching him ruin this team.

6-2 thus far in the playoffs...60+ wins in the regular season. +22 last game. But you're right.

You told us this series would be a sweep

How's that goin..
Actually, I thought 5 games.

5 games was my original prediction and what I always thought. I said someone could write it down and say the C's would get swept to be a prick. Like I said early on in the "How ugly" thread, it won't go past 5 games. That was always my prediction.

Don't really matter anyways, there was no reason for me to believe that my team couldn't have won this in 4 games--they're clearly the better team and have been all season.

Funny how the aged legs of Boston kicked our ass in fast break points with him on the floor. But hey, I guess that's what his "role" is. Doc Rivers is outcaoching Mike Brown once again. It oughta be Cavs runnin them off the floor.

Why doesn't Brown put Lebron on Rando? A near triple double at the half is unacceptable.

In addition to missing half his free throws, he can't seal off the lane to save his life. Dump it down to Shaq....and ruin the whole offensive flow.

The fact is....the Cavs played far and away their best ball with Shaq out with a thumb injury. We all watched in horror as this well oiled machine struggled their asses off against a putrid Bulls team. The only common denominator...Shaquile O'Neal.

Funny how stupid you are. Look at game 3, check out the final score...I'll help you with the fastbreak points--7.

Boston had 5. We didn't have to get out and run to blow them out.

It's about our defense, not our offense. MB is not being outcoached by Rivers. We're just not executing and not playing our style of defense.

I dont watch the NBA because I dont give a damn other than hoping Cleveland doesn't win a championship, but I happened to watch the last 5 minutes of the half and came away with 3 things.
1. The NBA sucks
2. Shaq is embarrassing to watch
3. You cant look at Lebron without being called for a foul

Go Boston!!!

One thing the Cavs can take advantage of in the second half is that they have Boston in foul trouble and as VanGundy commented Shaq is a big reason for this.

The real fact is that we played the easiest part of our REGULAR SEASON schedule during that stretch.

Not consecutive games against the PLAYOFF version of one of the better teams in the league.

Shaq is doing a wonderful job for us.

Was it or was it not more of an up tempo game with Shaq on the bench in game 3? They lose all rythm by throwing the ball to the black hole. Shooting 35% in the paint is NOT a job well done when it gets down there. And very rarely is he looking to kick it out for the open J. A complete liability on the offensive end.

Footwedge and miller only come out to post on certain things when they are negative.

He simply ignores the fact that Shaq has been good for Cleveland, is playing big minutes and Cleveland is currently 6-2 in the playoffs with him.

And since Foot is a huge fan of the +/-, maybe we should sit LeBron who is -9.

Shaq has 11 points right now, he is providing scoring when others are not. And everyone is shooting poorly so don't even bring it up that its all Shaq.

Shaq played 23 minutes and had 12 points and 9 boards.

It WAS our defense. We played a full game of good defense in game 3. Our offense always does well when we're getting stops--and it isn't because we get out and run. Like I said, we had 7 fastbreak points in game 3. When you score 124 and you had 7 fastbreak points, it's hardly an up tempo style.

I'd rather have Shaq out there than any other big that could play the C spot.

People expect huge things from Shaq, but the realistic fans know that any time you get 10+ out of him is a good day. He'll continue to provide just enough for Cleveland, more C production than last season.

Cleveland just needs to turn it up on defense and hit some open shots.
