Leroy Powell will be playing 4 shows in the Columbus area starting next weekend.

May 14th - Stooges - Columbus
May 15th - Ole Roadhouse Saloon - Lancaster
June 4th - Largo's Tavern - Columbus
June 5th - Outlaw Uprising (Doughboyz Pizza and Pub) - Ashville

Steel Valley FB and I are going to be at Stooges next Freiday for that show. I'll also be going up to the show at Largo's on June 4th.

If you like throwback country mixed with some rock and blues then check Leroy out if you've never heard of him.

Apparently he will be playing w/ Chris Young on June 5th. I was planning on going, but moved our Nashville trip to that weekend.

Stooges is kinda at the corner of 270-70 on the East side.
Largo's is in the Dublin-ish area.

Bah. I just hate the whole Brice area. Hell, I used to go to Whiskey Dicks in Minerva Park (read: stabbings outside the bar, etc) all the time, but I just really don't like the crowd that the Brice road area bars bring in.

The Show in Dublin will probably be more of a Marysville crowd, which is cool.

I've been known to buy his beers and food (as well as cook it, obviously). But since he is the half that likes country he would have to this time.

Hope you enjoy it. I haven't seen him live since he's been out on his own but he absolutely owned the show I saw when he was still touring with Shooter Jennings.
