Think Grand Theft Auto in the Wild West.. Set between 1908 and 1911 I believe and made by Rockstar, just as GTA is.. I've been following this game closely and it looks GREAT.

Comes out May 18th

It's open world, obviously, and the world consists of 3 different "parts" with EACH part being bigger than the entire Liberty City of GTA IV--CRAZY.

Probably the first game in a long time I've been looking forward to (and then some since Take-two pushed the release date back).

Preordered on PS3 with the Amazon $20 gift card deal.

This is actually the first multiplatform game that I will be buying on the PS3, my 2 bro in laws and another friend are all getting it on the ps3, and it looks like it will be a good time to play with people you know.

I have Red Dead Revolver and enjoyed that game...even though I beat it in like 3 days.

I'm old and my best video game days are behind me. Still stuck on the PS2. If they even make if for the PS2....I'll probably get it.

I'm pre-ordering it! I love Grand Theft Auto and westerns. . . it only seems natural that this will be my new favorite game.

I'll never understand this. Are you going to stop watching movies or television once you reach a certain age or stop reading books?

I honestly just don't have time with kids. It was more a figure of speech. Between playing outside, Spongebob and the occasional sporting event/ESPN News when the kiddos are in bed...I just don't have time. That's a part of getting old and having kids (is what I meant).

I've been a gamer my whole life and have a baby arriving in August.

I'm 24, and I am definitely going to try to set aside at least 1 night (late, like 10pm - 1am) per week to continue to game....I know I am going to be crazy busy, but I hope I will be able to continue at least in some capacity. I gave up most of my other hobbies over the past few years (playing sports, bowling, poker, etc), so gaming is currently my only hobby that I still spend time on, so I don't expect to have to stop completely.

Prepare to give up this one. :) I've often tried the same thing...playing late at night on the weekend. Especially with a baby....you're going to be too tired to care. It's really quite sad...and part of the reason why I had my last signature "We don't quit playing because we grow old....we grow old because we quit playing."

Congrats on the baby though! While you have to sacrifice a lot of things, and your life changes dramatically over night....children are the single greatest thing on earth....even slightly above video games. ;)

Good luck finding that time. I have an 8 month old. The only time I turn on my 360 now is to play Netflix. I have all 3 systems and barely touch any of them because of the rugrat.

Pretty soon all of those fancy gaming systems will be obsolete (like my PS2) and you'll sit back wondering....wow....my gaming days are behind me! :D

That won't happen though. I may never use them, but I'll always have them! LOL

Did it hurt?

I was gonna preorder this one, but I decided to preorder "Alan Wake" instead...I have been waiting for it since the 360 launch.

LOL?

Shut the fuck up. For one, you don't even know me.. For two, I'm actually a big help.. For three, I work part time, most of my classes are being done online (planned ahead, who woulda thunk??) and lastly, I game about 30 minutes to an hour a night... (when the baby is sleeping??!?! MY GOD!

Fact is, there is a lot of time in the day for a lot of things to be done. I don't know how good you guys are at managing your own lives, but mine is going pretty damn good.

Thanks for the concern though.

Both this and Alan Wake look very intriguing to me. Thanks to my best friend, I have a nice pile of PS2 games (Baldurs Gate II...PS2 action-style; not PC RPG style -- X-Men Legends 2 -- Call of Duty 3 -- Castlevania: Lament of Innocence) to rip through and a few 360 games I really need to put away, so I can delete the disc contents off my hard drive and add new games to said hard drive.

I sold my 360, but I was also anxious to play Alan Wake.. That's on hold now though..

Couldn't justify having two systems at this point.
