I regularly mow 2 acres of my land. Spring sucks grass grows fast. This time of year I have to mow at least once a week. Just finished tonight. With the lay of the land and trees it takes me about four hours to mow with a 60" mower deck on my tractor.

I have 2 acres and just a few trees. With the old tractor it took about 3 hours(give or take).
Bought a Toro Z master zero turn 60" deck and It now takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Cost some bucks but it was worth it. I hate mowing.

The wife loves to mow now! What a bonus/Boner!

lawn care place mows my house once a week, so I don't do any of that

The local farmer usually mows my property for me, but I have a tractor and will go out and mow whenever I want to use a piece of the property, probably about 20 acres at a time. Probably around 150 acres is mowed and the rest is woods

I live on a typical city lot. And am very picky about my lawn so I mow twice a week this time if year. By the end of June I cut it back to once a week. Takes me an hour and a half to mow trim edge and blow.

And I come by and fertilize it about once a week!! :D

I have a lot of trees but what really slows me down is the steep banks. I have to mow them in low gear up and down. Its funny how you can feel the temperature difference at dusk from the top of the hill where my house sits to the lowest point on my property where my shop sits.

.67 acres. I don't cut the grass. Pay the neighbor kid to do it. Paid him to cut the grass on Thursday night and again tonight. Took him 2 hours. Would take me 4 hours. Worth paying him.

regularly mow about 4 acres...give or take; let some of it go to pasture when it is wet in the spring...
nothing like laying down those nice straight lines as you knock off that grass. Love to mow.

When we lived in the country, I mowed about 3 to 4 acres, including some walking trails in the "back 40". I used to even run on them as part of my regimen. After losing that home to a fire, we moved to town and have a small residential property that I can mow in about an hour or so, if I take my time. We got Scott's Yard Service a few years ago and have recently discontinued it because of the ever increasing cost. I'm older now and not quite so anxious to get out and mow, and this season the grass has been growing like crazy. I mow more than once a week and keep it longer to protect the nice carpet effect. I think their chemicals are still working. I'm planning on doing my own applications this year.

1 1/2 acres. The teenage sons help out a lot with mowing, takes about 2 hours.

.25 acre neighborhood lot, I usually mow every five days and it takes 45 min. - 1 hr.

I have just under an acre (I'm talking about 2 feet from the edge of a field in 1 section) that I keep mowed. It's divided into three separate areas, with lots and lots of trim. I use a push mower for the exercise. It usually takes me about 2 hours total.
My question is, WTF are you guys doing that it takes you so long?
Somebody needs to sharpen their blades? LOL
