Most people who rail against him have never actually taken the time to listen to him over a several week period of time in order to fully understand where he comes from and how he runs his show and makes his points. They simply discredit it because they are mimicking the liberal talking points they pick up on. And the left only rails against him becasue of the threat he poses to them by his ability to not only spread the truth behind the liberal agenda, but his ability to also mobilize the conservative base. And they really can't stand the fact that their attempt at talk radio with Air America failed miserably and is bankrupt, just like their ideas.

Yesterday morning, after listening to the local morning show, I didn't turn off the radio right away. So, at the beginning of the next show (Glenn Beck) there was a ridiculous and awful song that leads the show in. Anybody know what that song is and why in the world Glenn Beck would play it? LOL

+1- People don't realize that a lot of the "outlandish" things he says are purely for his own entertainment, because he knows Media Matters and others on the left will twist and distort what he said (and its context) and cause an uproar- which then leads to more and more people tuning in to his show, thus helping his cause.
My only problem with Rush is he comes across a little arrogant at times, but for a guy who probably reinvented AM radio and the talk show genre I guess he's earned that right. I happen to like what he does- and it's truth and falsehood that divides people, not some AM radio jock.

And they really can't stand the fact that their attempt at talk radio with Air America failed miserably and is bankrupt, just like their ideas.

They're jealous.
