Not surprising at all. If you ask most regressives how they honestly feel about something they come up on the left side of it.

Do you believe that President Bush caused a hurricane?
No, never the less this oil spill has been referred to by the leader of the GOP as "Obama's Katrina." Why would the leader of the republican party do that?

If one side makes foolish comments about a disaster as the left did with Katrina, one can expect the same when the shoe is on the other foot.

Not surprising at all that I am a moderate and always have been? Nice try.

You want to see how I have never been affiliated with a political party either?

Same old crap, different poster. You come in here after never posting before, break all the rules within a few hours, make a bunch of posts that do nothing but slam the other side of the political spectrum than what you are, then accuse the moderators of trying to censor you and that they are "oh so right winged". Sorry pal, but I hate Rush, think Obama has done some good things, don't think the Healthcare bill was all that bad, think the Arizona bill is unconstitutional, think the financial services industry needs more regulations, yet feel like the gov't is overspending and has been.

You either need to start actually contributing something, rather than just calling people out and making horribly partisan "arguments" or your time here will be short lived. I don't care what your views are, I am caring how your posts are coming off.

See, now that hurts my feelings. I've been trying very hard to follow the rules here, I even pointed out plenty of rules that clearly appeared to be broken in an attempt to help you fairly moderate the forum, as we are all aware that you do. It's evident.

You calmly explained that they weren't because calling Al Gore "manbearpig" is obviously not name calling, and saying that "Obama has this country on the road to ruin" also isn't aclear violation of rule #4, and I thank you for setting me straight on that, sincerely.

I just want to follow the rules, and that's all I have been doing all morning.

Attention all you rebels without a cause out there, following the rules can be a lot of fun!

No you aren't. You are baiting. I have full discretion to run this forum as I please. If P_town and I decide you are a nuisance, you won't be here long. I suggest you stop baiting arguments. You are trying to point out a hypocrisy that doesn't exist. You decide to step in the ring after last posting here in November. You have come in TODAY and cause a lot of shit. Actually, I am going to pow wow with P_town, you may just get from this forum anyways for all the shit you are causing. You aren't adding anything to this forum.

So is Rush admitting that Bush sat on his hands while New Orleans drowned or was the "Obama's Katrina" comment ignorant?

Careful, if you're an elected republican and you criticize the leader of the GOP you will have to call his show and kiss his butt.

I'm just trying to follow the rules. Seriously, you should be thankful to have a rule follower like myself around.

I can't really find anything Rush says funny, as he is just a dickhead blowhard who is causing more problems than he solves. People like him are the cause for the divide in this country.
He's also a voice for millions of Americans whose opinions are routinely ignored or at least lambasted by the so-called objective mainstream media.

If we had true journalism in this country, guys like Rush would not be quite so popular.

But "divisive" for some on the left means anyone with conservative views needs to be silenced.
Rush isn't a voice for anything but idiocy.

Same with Olbermann/Maddow.

I will say this for Maddow - she's gone after Obama and some of his double talk. More than can be said for Olbermann or Mr. Tingly Legs.

Last Friday, Rush Limbaugh asked why a coal miner union didn’t protect the 29 miners who were killed when Massey Energy’s Upper Big Branch Mine in Montcoal, WV, exploded under unsafe conditions:
Was there no union responsibility for improving mine safety? Where was the union here? Where was the union? The union is generally holding these companies up demanding all kinds of safety. Why were these miners continuing to work in what apparently was an unsafe atmosphere?
He must be on the pills again, it was a nonunion mine...
Ummm, I think that was Rush's point. I despise Rush, but I think he was mocking unions in this, not actually questioning why they were not there fighting for the miners since there was no union. He was making a tongue in cheek comment about how there was no union.

I highly doubt this. Rush also made a comment that he believes the oil spill in the Gulf was caused by enviromentalists. Dude is whacked to say the least.

I agree with you that Rush is whacked, I just hink he says things for the sensationalism because all he is is a sensationlist and shock jock. He has no credibility.

That those on the left get themselves so worked up into a lather over what someone on the radio says -- makes me laugh.

You know the nation is in trouble when defenders of the constitution and liberty are labeled radicals.

Rush is the main guy out there digging for the truth and relaying it to miilions. The so-called mainstream media could give a rats ass about the truth, they are too busy running interference for obama and their shared leftist agendas. On top of that the 'main-stream' media is so lacking in journalistic skills and so intellectually inept that it is being relegated to the back seat by those truly seeking a 'watchdog of the government'.

Lol @ using "Rush" and "Journalist Skills" in the same thought. He didn't even get the facts about the mine incident correct.

I'll admit that are plenty of journalists on the right who are doing an admirable job, but Rush isn't one of them.

You know when I think about Rush Limbaugh?

When I read about him here, that's when!

Why, oh why, do people get themselves all worked up about him? Why do they pay attention to what he says if they don't like him?
