Not so fast my friend Marion Franklin is no joke. This was a close game when they played earlier this season. I think it will be close again. I'll take Brookhaven by 3.

What seed were the Red Devils?? A #7, maybe. Great job. I think most of the experts assumed this a Logan or Louisville region.

The OHSAA reserves the right to rebracket at the State Semi Final level. (and they have before). Until Sunday, the brackets online are subject to change.

Although it looks like in Division 2, it will be Region 5 vs 6 and Region 7 vs 8.... the OHSAA has done stranger things before!

They also can flip home and away on those brackets so nothing is final until Sunday afternoon.

Yeah, I am a little nervous to call this one myself until Sunday. The Columbus Dispatch says that MF is the away team and we play Winton Woods @ Centerville HS. I don't want to say that is true until sunday afternoon.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COLUMBUS CITY LEAGUE SOUTH. They all say the King has to fall sometime! Last night was Brookhaven's night to fall... although I think MF could have beat Brookhaven each of the past 3 seasons. We didn't play each other though. I am very happy this day has come though.

On that note, Congratulation Brookhaven for a great season and helping pull up the Columbus City League image! Wish you all the best in future seasons and if I am not mistaking... MF @ Brookhaven week 1 in the 2010 season! Best of three? We'll see!

RED DEVILS ROLL ON!!

Okay... Its pretty safe to say officially Cincinnat Winton Woods vs. Columbus Marion Franklin. It's on OHSAA website....

http://www.ohsaa.org/sports/ft/boys/2009/statebrkt.pdf

Looking at the bracketing, MF is the home team. The game will be played at Centerville HS.
