So I'm heading to work tonight and there are two vehicles ahead of me driving 25 in a 45. So I move over a little bit to see if there is something wrong with one of them, there isn't they are just driving slow. The guy in front of me pulls into the turning lane and just sits there I yell out the window go and they guy does. Here is where it get's crazy. As we are pulling onto the on ramp the dude slams on his breaks causing me to almost hit him.I swerve around this idiot and drive on. This dude begins to tail me with his brights and I speed away. He pulls beside me again and at this point I'm pissed I speed up and this idiot in his little ass Subaru tries to keep up with me and I blow past him. I pull off not paying any more attention to the asshole. I pull into the gas station and I'm on the phone telling my fiance about this motherfucker and all of a sudden this asshole hits the back of my car! He gets out all 5"7 and acting like a badass. I get out of my car and this dudes eyes swell up because he has realized he has bit off more than he can chew. I calmly tell him that he needs to sit his ass down on the ground while I call the cops and I also tell him to not even try to get back to his car. Five minutes later the asshole is hancuffed and being taken away. What is wrong with people?

He hit the back of your car in the gas station....with HIS car?

Oh wow.

Sounds like you handled the situation better than I. I probably would have been in handcuffs by the end of the event too!

I had a very similar thing happen recently, totally uncalled for, except the guy didn't hit my car.

I have no idea what is wrong with people, bad day or something I suppose...

You handled it slightly better than I would. I probably would have been a little more "forceful" when it came to subduing him (might have held him down myself) until the cops got there.

I wouldn't have beat the crap out of the guy, unless my kids were in the car with me, then he would have got a butt whoopin for chancing their lives.

Didn't involve me and it's not technically road rage, but here's another example of how stupid people are. My wife was recently in Columbus, driving on 270 near Sawmill Rd. She's in the middle lane, there is a State Highway Patrolman in the far left lane. A car passes her in the left lane, comes up on the HWP car (that was going faster than my wife and she was at 70mph).....he passes the HWP car on his right, then proceeds to cut back in into the left lanefront of the HWP car in what my wife described as "almost hitting the front of his car" and sped up at least 10mph and pulled away from him. 10 seconds later, the HWP hits his flashers and the guy is pulled over. She was laughing so hard when she called me that she could hardly tell the story.

Just kidding... people get crazy for no reason. but my big complaint is this, when im driving the speed limit, and im bein pushed because someone decided to be late and now they feel the need to speed and drive unsafely.

This is what you should have done to him....

Like others have said, you handled it really well. The dude would have been in some BIG trouble with me

...I had something similar happen. I was driving home on the interstate and moved into the left lane becaus I saw this car coming down the on ramp and a guy comes down the ramp, goes across the right lane and into my lane. I slow down figuring he might be distracted (phone, eating, ???) but he just stays there for almost 2 miles. When I flashed my lights, he flips me off so I pass him on the right and figure that's the last I'll see of him, (wrong). I get off the interstate about 25 miles later to take a leak, and when I come out this dudes parked behind my car blocking me in. Now I haven't been in a fight in 30 years, but fucking enough was enough. I start to walk towards my car taking my coat off and the chicken shit pulls out.
I'm no bad ass by any means, but this ahole just pissed me off and when I told my wife about it "I" got yelled at. "He could have had a gun" (which I guess he could have), but sometimes you just don't think.

Damn, that dude sounds like a real piece of shit. You definitely handled it much better than I probably would have.

I've got a decent story. A few weeks ago I was leaving work. Some dude in a convertible in front of me SLAMS on his breaks at a green light. Out of instinct I give him a quick honk (not laying on the horn, that shit drives me nuts) to let him know I wasn't happy. Traffic had stopped through the intersection but he definitely had enough room to make it through without being in the way and I needed to turn right. Old dude revs up his engine while staring at me in his rearview mirror. I start laughing because it was hilarious watching this 50 year old guy act like a child. He then puts his car in park, gets out, and walks back to my truck. I roll down my window and he starts yelling..."what the hell was I supposed to do?!?! Traffic was backed up, I couldn't go through the intersection!!!" I'm like, "First off, you had plenty of room to go but the thing that pissed me off was the sudden slamming on your breaks. Sorry for honking in your ear, now get back in your car you dumb mother fucker." His response was just "okay." I just found it funny that this 50 year old dude driving a Lexus (I think) convertible thought it would be a good idea to come back and yell at a guy in a truck. Not saying that all dudes that drive trucks are tough, but no guy in a convertible is. He was also about 5'5", a buck fifty with a stack of dimes neck. I think he was wearing a vest of some sort, too. Dumbass.

Last weekend I had a car back out in front of me from a driveway onto a 55 mph road. It was still light out and there was no one behind me. I had to slam on my brakes and swerve around them in order to not kill myself. As I did this I LAID on my horn. This person decided to floor it, get right on my ass and lay on their horn. I got into the left turn lane at the next light and they followed me into the turn lane, still blowing on their horn. As I turn, they, still on the horn, cut off 5 or 6 cars by swerving back into the straight lane and take. My gf and I just stared at each other like, WTF?!?!

wow, that may be the stupidest thing I've read on this site. What kind of idiot would say something like that?:@

Why in the world would you have waste the extra $$$ on premium. Regular gasoline burns just fine......:)

It does, but I heard that premium actually burns your soul too, whereas regular just kills you.

I have a similar story too. Last week I drove home (Columbus to Dayton) and it was relatively uneventful and I arrived safely.
