Any thoughts on how the league might shape up this year? I hope Elida can build off of their tournament run from last season

OG is always strong, Do they have a lot returning from last year? I know Elida was kind of young last year so hopefully they can be strong and try to capture another WBL Title

Defiance gained a transfer this year, who's an excellent basketball (big scorer) and baseball player. Plenty of height back (6'6 and 6'8 or 6'9), but they lost the only consistent offensive threat from last year, 6'6 center Keel. Should be plenty of depth but (in my opinion) the post players will have to be more aggressive this year. They still weren't a great rebounding team last year even with 3 guys over 6'6 and 2 others at 6'3.
I was worried this year's team would be offensively-challenged even more than last year, but we'll see how the new kid can contribute. I think there are plenty of guards up from the JV team from last year. I would expect a third straight winning record after about 9 or 10 non-winning records in a row, but a league title might be too much to ask for.

Wapak got it's first win last night, don't put them at the bottom of the pile just yet, Coach Bradley is going to do some good things in Wapakoneta. Maybe not WBL champs but for sure not the bottom of the WBL.
