Shaq was brought in for ONE REASON. That reason was to guard Dwight Howard lol.

Cleveland this year was 2-1 in real games not including the last where everyone sat. Last year, Orlando owned Cleveland in the regular season and postseason. Our bigs were getting dominated by Howard down low.

In the loss at Orlando this year, Shaq was 9-10 for 20 points basically canceling out Howard's 22 points. Do you really think any big will be able to drop 20 points against Howard 1 v 1?

Howard had 11 points, 22 points, and 19 points in the 3 games against Cleveland. He averaged 26 against Cleveland in the post season compared to 17 against Shaq.

If you think Cleveland will beat Orlando without Shaq guarding Howard you're crazy. We won't have to double Howard with Shaq on the court, a main reason why everyone was getting wide open 3's last year for Orlando.

I am sorry Wedge, but that post was 100% inaccurate and ridiculous.

Shaq is the hired gun for the Orlando series, until he blows in that series I won't have a bad thing to say about him. I will differ with M. Brown regarding his minutes when he's not exactly needed, but that doesn't mean I don't want him when we need him.

It will be interesting to see if Brown decides to give JJ some more minutes. I realize that he probably wont see much time if the Cavs continue but they could use him this series. With the way that these two teams matchup, I'm not sure if Z does anything better than JJ would right now. I think that will change if they play the Celtics in the next round but I like JJ in this one.

Shaq will be fine against Dwight if he gets a chance to face him. I also like seeing Jamario get some more minutes. He has been a big lift so far.

MO and Delonte need to D up. Play with a little pride fellas

It wasn't him that was the problem lol.

Here's a novel idea.....Play our best players and rotations and let the inferior teams match up with US. Those that somehow think Howard is gonna be snuffed out by Shaq are delusional. Shaq is clogging up the court on offense, turning the ball over at an astounding clip, and his defense is not very good at all.

The man is over the hill....time to accept that.

There are solid reasons why the Cavs plus/minus is so horrible with Shaq on the floor versus when he is off the court.

Footwedge, imo, likes to bring up the "what if's". He doesn't deserve to be talked to like that.

Thanks for having my back bro...but the truth is...sometimes I probably do need to be talked to like that. :D

Everybody has there opinion on Shaq. And everyone says that we brought in Shaq to neutralize Howard. I agree that was the thinking. I concede that he has risen to the occasion this year against Howard. But I don't see it happeneing in the playoffs.

JJ Hickson did a great job on Howard this year...blocked a few of his shots in fact.

I just think that the Cavs have a much better chance of beating Orlando with JJ logging the majority of the minutes against Orlando.

I like what Brown is doing. You can argue all you want but we'll just have to wait and see if it works out.

Not watching the game, but how is Bron?

Hickson will play well, but you're a damn fool if you think he'll be able to slow Howard.
