LJ, It's not the image. It's the behavior that they think will put him locked up, then what will they have? A franchise QB in the slammer. What good will that do them?

So you don't think he will keep his nose clean for a few years? I do. Keep him around until you can find another franchise QB, then get something for him. They aren't going to get Bradford, so there are no franchise QB's in the draft this year. Dixon and Leftwich are not franchise QB's, just serviceable QB's. Hell ask Browns fans the last time they had a Franchise QB, the Bengals, the Bills, Raiders, Tampa Bay, Kansas City. A franchise QB is not something you throw away on "what ifs". Like I said, 21 years and 10 QB's (12 different starters, a new starter every 1.75 seasons) since Bradshaw, also no Super Bowl wins in that time.

Ben and Whisenhunt didn't get along in Pittsburgh so this makes no sense. Maybe Whiz is taking a page out of McNabb's book....

How do you know what she said?? According to a statement given to the police, one of her friends couldn't tell if she was saying BATHROOM or BACKROOM. Hell, she doesn't what she did or didn't say.

Good article, which points out how unfair the length of Roethlisberger's suspension is. Roethlisberger was made an example of because he's white and he is the face of the franchise. If were a black, no-name player his punishment would have been more in line with the precedent Goodell set with his earlier rulings.

It is odd that Roethlisberger is scheduled to return just in time for (3) nationally televised high interest games.

Their was a display at the Pittsburgh Zoo comparing the size of animals to humans. They used Big Ben as the human. Due to complaints from patrons, they replaced him today for Mario Lemioux. This is a measuring stick on what he will be facing when he comes back. Plus what the crowd in New York did last night, He's in for a tough year.

^^^He may be in for a tough year, but winning cures all as they always say. If he wins, he will get a clean slate with the fans.

Yes..i think ben did get kinda screwed on the suspension but i fully believe the rooneys had soething to do with the length of it since they really cannot suspend him.

Most of my buddies....woh are pretty sensible about stuff and dont look thru the glasses of their own teams think that is a very harsh penalty and he got hosed...
but it is what it is..............i tend to lean toward too tuff penalty than too lenient..
