Simply awful play from the Wings thus far with terrible mistakes by defensmen that led directly to goals. Might as well get ready for game 7 because as much as I want it to happen, they aren't putting 3 goals past Phoenix since the Coyotes will just sit back for 20 minutes and collapse on everything.

That should seal it. 5-1 off the PP.

Off to game 7, awesome. Keep it going Coyotes.

What a story the Coyotes are this year. With all the off the ice problems, being bought by the NHL, threats of moving the team to Canada, etc. Then, add in they lost their captain, Nolan in game 3, and had to go into the Joe to win and stave off elimination. Great story. I hope they can win and move on.

Wings have been so awful this year on Sunday afternoon games at home for some reason and I still don't understand. Just never seem ready for these games. However, they have played well in Phoenix this entire series and I have faith they can go in there one more time and win.

I'm just so completely disgusted with the ineptitude of the Wings in big games at home that it is just less frustrating not to watch them. I think the next time the Wings are on, I'll be doing something else. I just can't stand to subject myself to it. If they win, terrific. Personally, I think their luck has run out and they have no one to blame but themselves.

Sounds like the bandwagon fans that I always here about with the Red Wings. Only watch when the team is winning.

Watching paint dry is more exciting than the NBA.

2:03 left and Daniel Sedin steals a puck in the zone and buries it.
3-2 Canucks. If they can hang on, they advance.
Kings have pretty much fallen apart in the 3rd.

Canucks get an empty netter, sealing it.
4-2 Canucks. Final.

The Canucks will advance, joining the Sharks, Pens and Flyers.

LA played a great series though, just fell apart in some games. Quick, a rookie looked solid in most games. The Kings are a great young team that will continue to move up.

I've been following the Wings for over 50 years and it has only been this latest bunch of Red Wings who don't seem to be able to play at home. I don't understand it and I just don't enjoy watching them cough up chance after chance to clinch these early series. I've been about as faithful a Wings fan that there is. I started with the original six and am still a very enthusiastic supporter. I may ba a fair weather fan at this point but I went through that horrific period when the Wings were bad for what seemed to be an eternity but I knew that there would be eventual improvement and I stuck with them. I still like them but I just have more important things to do than fritter away a Saturday afternoon watching deja vu all over again,

Ptown, the Coyotes captain isn't Nolan it's Doan :D.

As for the LA kings, this team will only get better. They have a lot of cap space and great young talent in Johnson, Kopitar, Quick, Doughty, Brown, Simmonds, Greene, and Moller. This team will be good for years to come.

Doh! Thanks. How the hell did I get Nolan? lol. Oh well.

Tonight has 3 games.

7:00pm Game Six: 1. Caps at 8. Habs, Caps lead 3-2.
7:00pm Game Six: 3. Sabers at 6. Bruins, Bruins lead 3-2
9:00pm Game Six: 2. Hawks at 7. Preds, Hawks lead 3-2.

I see the Caps and Hawks ending their series tonight, with the Sabers winning to force a game 7.

Caps and Habs a few minutes in, scoreless, but the Habs are on the PP.
Caps have had chances early.
Bruins and Sabers also scoreless.

I don't have a problem with that, hope they all go in to OT too and beat the shit out of each other as the Penguins sit at home resting and getting healthy. They're going to need Tyler Kennedy in the next round.

Oh, shit, the Habs just scored again.
2-0.
Typical slapshot, Varley looks shaky.

One thing I like/ hate about the Bell Center is that "Oh Lay" chant. Sounds great, but this isn't soccer.
