Empty netter for the Canucks. 4-1.
Going to a game 6.
Canucks simply outplayed the Hawks tonight, wanted it more.

I hope the Nucks come back just because I want Hossa to go home and make himself puke.

Maybe Hossa just wanted to be associated with some players who play with dignity and class, instead of divers and cry-babies. Funny, when I watch Detroit play Datsyuk and Zetts often receive the majority of the attention from the D like the other great players in the league, yet rarely dive, throw sticks, and don't yap to the refs every other play. They simply play on and that's why they have the respect of ALL NHL fans and players. Compare Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom with some of the other players in the league and you'll know what I mean.
Those are the kind of players hockey fans like to watch, so I can't fault Hossa for choosing to play with guys who play like that.

Boucher just hurt his knee against the Bruins, looks like it was pretty bad. Flyers up 1-0 right now but it will be interesting to see how the backup performs coming in cold on the road.

3-0 Flyers ... don't be surprised if this is the 3rd series to have a team come back from 3-0 to win. Bruins look terrible, Gagne is back and scoring, and with game six in Philly, I think they can take it.

What's going one here??? Flyers were left for dead and the Bruins seemed to be firing on all cylinders. Dude came off the bench and kept the shutout intact.

Habs have more heart and win, and the Flyers dominate and force a game 6.
Great games around.

End of 1, tied 0-0.
In game 5, at the end of the 1st, Canucks Sami Salo took a puck to nuts. He went down and it was pretty serious.
But, this has to be the funniest youtube video I have seen in a long time:

Nearly halfway through the 2nd, 2-0 Hawks. Domination by the Hawks. Canucks have 1 shot in the period.

Kane puts one in after a Canucks turnover. 4-1 Hawks, 11:22 left.
and Dustin Butler just threw one in to make it 5-1, sealing it.
Final: 5-1 Hawks. Chicago wins the series 4-2.
So, the West is set.
Western Conference Finals:
1. San Jose Sharks vs. 2. Chicago Blackhawks

This is somehow setting up for another Hossa fail. I can feel it.

Hawks are going to bury the Sharks. Way to deep, just as fast, and have much better defensemen. Sharks got over one hump but they won't go to the finals.

Not sure about that. When the Hawks are on, they are good, but when they are off, it is like they fall off a cliff. I can easily see them dominating a game or two, but can also see them stinking up the joint for a few games.KnightXC1 wrote: Hawks are going to bury the Sharks. My initial reaction is Sharks in 7, because I think the Sharks are the more balanced and consistent team right now.
But, I can see the Hawks winning it though.

If Chicago loses to Pittsburgh in the finals Hossa may as well just pack it in, lol.

While game 7 starts at 7:00 for the Pens and Habs, there is another game tonight in the east as well.
Game 6: 6. Bruins at 7. Flyers, 8:00pm (Vs, after the Pens game)
Bruins lead 3-2.
Bruins will once again try and defeat the Flyers. I think they actually do it tonight, instead of going home for a game 7.
